About Peter & the Wolf, Bach to Baby
Yulia Vershinina-Mukhopadhyay, piano
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Join our pianist on a wild adventure through the woods!
Meet brave Peter, his stern grandfather, a chatty duck, a clever bird and a cunning cat.
Will Peter capture the wolf and save the day? Hear Prokofiev's timeless musical tale unfold in an interactive storytelling experience for the whole family.
This concert will not feature nursery rhymes, instead the music performance will be interwoven with narration and interactive elements.
Feel free to come dressed up and be ready to flit about like the clever bird and quack like a duck.
Ideal for primary-age children, as well as babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

What will I hear at a Bach to Baby concert?
Programming ranges from Bach to Barber, from Chopin to Shostakovich.
Studies show the positive effects of live classical music and children are like little sponges at this stage.
While rooted in the core classical repertoire, Bach to Baby has always been passionate about celebrating different music traditions, including foot-stomping Klezmer, gypsy jazz, Afro-Latin rhythms, Hungarian Magyar, and British and Caribbean sea shanties.
Not to mention operatic arias, hits from the musicals, including Disney favourites, and a healthy dose of Beatlemania!
We bring musicians from the top concert halls to perform in inspiring locations in your neighbourhood.
Our artists reflect the multicultural world that we live in today, with diverse heritage including Afro Cuban, Indian, Brazilian, Israeli, Chinese, Korean, Eastern Europeans, Japanese, as well as the British Isles, bringing with them flavours and experiences of their own roots.
