About Gentle Touch Massage

 At Gentle Touch Massage we offer nurturing and relaxing baby massage courses to new parents. We are baby led which means we encourage you to only massage your baby when they are happy to receive it. Just like you or I, babies will have different moods and one day they will love a massage and the next day they will not.

You will learn how to ask you baby permission to massage and read their cues. You will quickly know whether to go ahead or whether just a cuddle or a play is what they really want.

During the classes if your baby needs feeding, changing a good cry or just to sit and cuddle you while watching or playing that is absolutely fine. You must relax and let your baby do what they need to do. You will still be learning everything you need to know to massage your baby at home when the time is right for you both.

With flexible start dates and session times, these courses can be run with a group of friends or you antenatal group. I will come to you to run a six week course ( one session per week for six weeks). These are very popular so please contact me to book as soon as possible. Areas covered for private courses: Anywhere within a 10 mile radius of Harpenden \ St Albans, £70 each based on a minimum of five sets of parent/baby. I do not charge extra for twins.

Our baby massage courses run for 6 weeks and offer an open and supportive environment and an opportunity to share experiences and learn about your baby. Each session consists of a full body massage routine including a routine to help with colic and appropriate oils are used for babies over 4 weeks old. Our courses are suitable for all babies regardless of any medical conditions past or present from newborn to 12 months.
