Witch is miserable and bad-tempered. Every night she flies around the town frightening people! One day Witch finds an egg in her nest and has no idea what to do with it. All the other birds have plenty of advice but Witch doesn’t like them and decides to go it alone. Adapted from the book by Madeleine Edmondson, The Witch and the Egg uses humour, audience engagement and shadow puppetry to tell the story of a lonely old witch who finds an egg which takes her on an adventure that changes her life forever.
