About Pomp and Cirque-umstance No 3.1

Part of the London Clown Festival, featuring six shows that are influenced by mime, circus and physical comedy.

Richard Melanin The Third is a showman. Even in his own home.

He can make magic in mundanity and splendour in simplicity. But he’s been saving his greatest stunt for a rainy day…

Internationally acclaimed clown Ella The Great “lights up the stage” (Scotsman) in an inventive debut-hour of visual comedy and circus, which sheds new light on the visionary mind of one of London’s most beloved artists.

Pomp and Cirque-umstance No 3.1 weaves together (for the first time) a collection of fantastical acts lovingly grown from the UK drag and cabaret scenes.

The enchanting Richard Melanin The Third – equipped with a magical suitcase and a dazzling imagination – brings audiences into a circus ring of possibilities, where the household and homemade take on starring roles.

Inspired by silent cinema, mime and the absurd, this “King of clowning brings it every time“ BoiBox London
