If your child is a complete beginner we can show them how to use the sewing machine and make something of their choosing they can take home that day! Experienced sewers welcome too, they can sink their teeth into a more complex project they can come back and complete next month or they may want to carry on with it at home! A great extra curricular activity that will give your child transferable life skills. They will learn to use a sewing machine and loads of other craft and design techniques; appliqué, embroidery, free machining, dressmaking, pattern cutting the list is endless. We have a huge range of projects on offer so they can always have a choice of making something they will love and cherish. We love to instill a sense of pride in what they make, and creating things that are long lasting (not throwaway.) Suitable for all levels of ability, can be a great extra help for GSCE and A level work and can go towards D of E skills. A great taster session to see if your child would like to sign up for a place in our after school club or holiday classes! £16 per session when you book the entire term.

Come and make some clothes or accessories during half term. We always let our students choose from a huge range of projects so they make something they love and want to cherish! We provide the fabric, patterns and ideas and your child can make magic, we have a whole host of projects to choose from, great for beginners/ intermediates, hand sewing and machine sewing projects will be on offer from cushions to jumpsuits and everything in between. Book for multiple sessions to make more adventurous things! If your child is staying all day please send them with a packed lunch and a coat - we will be eating outside unless it's raining.

Get stuck into sewing, crafting and designing projects to instill a sense of confidence and pride. These sessions are open to kids of all sewing abilities, from complete newbies to confident creators. Regardless of their ability, they’ll leave with new knowledge and progress on projects appropriate to their skill level. This is a great extracurricular activity that will give your child transferable life skills. They’ll learn to use a sewing machine and discover loads of other craft and design techniques including: appliqué, embroidery, free machining, dressmaking, pattern cutting, and much, much more! What’ll they make? Each child will tackle a project of their choosing, individually guided by one of our friendly and experienced teachers. We have a huge range of projects on offer so they can choose to make something they will love and cherish for years to come. They can also choose fabric and trims available in our studio. We have everything, from regular cotton and standard buttons, to plush faux fur and sequins – a dream for imaginative young makers! Some of our projects include: cuddlies, bags, t-shirts, skirts, trousers, cushions the list goes on Parents/carers are welcome too.
