About Piece of Music
Piece of Music provides music classes for children aged 3 to 6 years old.
From rhythm training and body percussion, to singing high and low, in our group classes children will improve their musical skills through playful activities and movement.
We offer two specialised group music classes for kids to build their musical foundation and prepare them for future music study: Early Ears Training (3 to 4-years old and 4 to 5-years old) and Music Theory Introduction (5 to 6-years old).
What makes our classes different is the use of the piano and classical music, combined with learning through movement.
Playing excerpts from well-known classical pieces on a real instrument, we encourage children to engage in a series of fun movement exercises that help them improve their listening skills, coordination and awareness of the main musical elements such as pitch, tempo and dynamics.

Early Ears Training is designed to push your child to grow at the correct developmental place for his or her age. Your child will be placed into classes with other kids of similar age and development, so that the class will always be relevant to your child’s developmental needs.
Playing simple rhythm patterns and excerpts from well-known classical pieces on a keyboard instrument takes place from the first session.
While doing so, we encourage children to engage in a series of fun movement exercises that help them improve their listening skills, coordination and awareness of the main musical elements such as pitch, tempo and dynamics.
Children learn to groove, jump, twirl, wiggle, and even be very, very still; all of which translates to their musical abilities as they thump, tap, shake to the sound of piano, drums and dozens of percussive instruments.
Each class is a group music class for children aged 3 to 4 years old. It lasts 35 minutes, and packed full of dynamic musical activities, perfectly suited to the attention span of the young child.
Class prices are based on booking per term.
