All new mums, should obtain permission from their GP or consultant to exercise and inform the teacher prior to the first session.
It is recommended that you wait a minimum of 6 weeks after delivery and 10-12 weeks after a caesarean section before starting general exercise, however if you feel ready to start postnatal Pilates prior to the guideline and have been approved for exercise then you may join earlier, but not before 6 weeks (vaginal) and 8 week (section).
You will require a mat, band and ball. The band and ball you can purchase directly when you book.
Please give yourself enough time before each class to get settled.
Please bring a blanket or bouncer for your baby (we are unable to provide any shared items at present, apologies for the inconvenience).
