Located in the heart of London, the RA is a place where art is made, exhibited and debated.
For over 250 years, the RA has existed to champion art and artists.
Enjoy our expanded campus with free displays, new spots to eat, drink and shop, and much more.
We're run by the Royal Academicians, artists and architects elected by their peers in recognition of their exceptional work.
We're home to Britain's longest established art school, the RA Schools.
Every year since 1768 we've held an annual Summer Exhibition, the largest open-submission art exhibition in the world.
We present our collection of art and architecture in free displays throughout our home on Piccadilly.
And we put on world-class exhibitions of art from around the world, welcoming hundreds of thousands of people to our galleries each year.

Experiment with collage at this session for under fives.
Rip, stick, cut, arrange and assemble materials with us in this collage themed workshop.
We'll experiment with how surfaces and objects stick together to create new things.
Our early years studio programme is a series of regular, child-led creative sessions that are drop-in and designed for under 5’s and their caregivers.
Devised and led by artist Amy Leung, the studio space will be full of materials, objects and textures that can be used for child led play and inquiry.
Come along and explore in your own way and at your own pace.
Sessions are supported by a team of experienced assistants and provide options for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
They offer an open and collaborative space where children and families can play, explore, and investigate together.

Families will be invited to draw freehand or use stencils to make their own mixed-media artwork.
Our family studio programme is a series of monthly art-making workshops that are drop-in and open to families with children of all ages.

We run a first come, first served system. You may be asked to wait, or return later.
We try to accommodate everyone while ensuring the space doesn't become overcrowded.

Make a bold and colourful artwork inspired by our Michael Craig-Martin exhibition at this workshop designed for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Our family workshops for children with SEND are led by experienced artist educator Cash Aspeek.

Spaces are limited to 30 and are in high demand. Be careful to reserve only the number of tickets you need and let us know if you are no longer able to attend.
Detailed information about the session and what to expect will be sent out in advance of the workshop.
