Rugbytots High Barnet & North Finchley

Rugbytots enables boys and girls to discover a new world of sporting imagination. Your little Rugbytot will be part of a dynamic 45-minute sports play session packed with fun activities that will develop their social and physical skills in a positive environment. You child will learn about finding space, looking after the ball, scoring tries and running with the ball in two hands. This class will also help improve their general agility and balancing skills. We always use kit and equipment suited to the ages of children taking part in our activities. For example, in this class we use colourful size-2 rugby balls that are specially designed for small hands and feet. Our active classes for 3½ to 5-year-olds do not require full parent participation, but cheering and encouragement is essential!

Our Rugbytots' activity programme focuses on fun and encouragement, while enhancing self-esteem and confidence. As such, our activities for children age 5 and over really start to set the foundations for all aspects of your child's life after Rugbytots. To ensure that the basic skills of rugby are coached in the right way by maintaining small class numbers. The classes follow the same structure as our sessions younger children, but also involve advanced team games. With 5 to 7-year-olds, we gently introduce the rules of tag rugby. Every session includes a game of tag rugby to prepare your child perfectly for their next sporting adventure!

Rugbytots' toddler classes provide a fun environment for your child to learn new skills, meet new friends and have an exciting introduction to rugby. The classes take place weekly and last 30 minutes. They are colourful, lively and a great experience for both children and parents! Our pre-school activities incorporate fast-paced fun with learning. The activities for toddlers teach your child about shapes, colours, numbers and counting. And as well as enjoying team games, you child will be encouraged to work independently. We introduce rugby-specific skills nice and gently. All the equipment used in our toddler classes has been specifically designed and selected for 2 to 3½-year-olds. For example, we use sponge foam balls so that your child can catch, pass and kick their goals with confidence. Our toddler classes require full parent participation. This offers a fantastic opportunity for you and your child to spend quality time together.
