About Boys Gymnastic Squad
We are delighted in the growing number of boys joining our club and so we have expanded both our classes and our equipment to cater to this. We are continuing to improve the facility to support the development of our male gymnasts as well as developing our coaching team. We are also well on the way to designing a Men’s Artistic programme in the hopes to take part in county competitions.Men’s Artistic gymnastics is a 6-piece discipline which consists of: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal (High) Bar. This discipline is one which takes years of gruelling and vigorous training to build the strength and flexibility to compete on all 6 pieces. There is no doubt that this is one of the most physically demanding disciplines, but all of the hard work pays off at competition and in training as new skills come one after the other.
