About Botanical Illustration
Do you love nature?Do you love drawing and creating?
Then this workshop is for you! Pupils will learn about botanical illustration, with a fun take on painting/drawing by using an abstract and surrealist approach.
We’ll work from real natural objects, as well as photos, to create an inspiring gallery of prints at the end of our workshop, where the paintings might not always be what they seem!
With the help of macrolenses, we’ll be getting up-close and personal with flowers, leaves, feathers, shells, and more... and you can bring your own, too!
Take home a set of their beautiful pictures, prints, and bookmarks to keep or share as gifts.
Please note that all students will need to have a smartphone or tablet that can take photos, and an appropriate charger, to take part in this workshop.
Macro-lenses will be provided. Please wear clothes that you won't mind getting painty!
