About Dancing the World
Come along to the Conservatoire for a day of dance!Together with our expert tutor, young dancers will explore contemporary dance and movement inspired by the elements and the world around us.
You will dip your toe into Western popular styles like contemporary an jazz as well as Eastern forms of dance and movement like Butoh, Nihonbouyo, and Tai chi.
If there’s time perhaps you’ll even experiment with some Latin forms too!
You’ll finish the day with a short performance to show off your new moves.
