About Make a Summer Kimono

Do you want to learn to sew your own clothes? Or perhaps you’re looking to return to sewing after a bit of a break?

Join us for the day to make a Kimono-style wrap in cotton fabric using a stunning Vogue pattern.

Bring along your sewing machine, a basic sewing kit and kick-start your couture journey.

You will learn how to decipher the pattern envelope and instructions, how to choose the correct size and how to lay out your pattern on the fabric.

In addition you will need to bring with you sufficient cotton fabric and matching thread. With support from your sewing
teacher you will learn the skills you need to sew your Kimono-style wrap.

This is an ideal course for improvers and those returning to sewing, but it is not suitable for beginners.
