About Midsummer Madness!
Come & explore the magic of the forest as we delve in to one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.Transform yourself into King of the fairies, a cheeky sprite or an amateur actor blessed with a donkey's head... nothing is impossible when magic is about!
Come along to this drama workshop for ages 7 – 11, based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, loosely introducing basic original text, and exploring physicality and comedy skills!
You'll end the day with a short sharing to show off your new skills.
No knowledge of Shakespeare is needed, and this is a perfect introduction for young actors interested in all kinds of plays.
Participants are in for a real treat as they will be taught by Joanna Brown, who has just returned from English Theatre Vienna playing the Queen of the Fairies herself!
