About Springtime Sprouting Heads

 Welcome the coming of spring by making springtime sprouting grass heads, and watch their hair grow at home!

The festival of Nowruz – New Day – is an ancient Persian festival celebrated on the spring equinox, and we will make grass-head characters as part of the table setting of the Haft-sin table, a tradition at the festival.

We will make other items in collage for our table setting to celebrate the ancient Persian new year as well.

What other six things will you choose for your table?

Perhaps an apple for health?

Some gold coins?

Or a goldfish for good luck?
