About Surrealist Summer
Learners will create dreamy, colourful, summer-themed landscapes based on an eclectic still life using collage and mixed media.Their art will challenge reality, illustrating daydreams and mysterious worlds where anything can happen!
We will look at art by Magritte and Man Ray, and learners will make a creative summer journal or sketchbook, illustrating the front cover using collage and mixed media.
They will begin to use the books for drawing, writing and collage, as well as decorating a themed upcycled box to store their books and summer treasures.
