About Wild Weaving
Did you know that the branches from the trees all around you can be used to make things?People weave all sorts of things; baskets, fences… even houses!
Together in this class we will weave some beautiful art.
Using a branch shaped like a divining rod (like people use to find water!) we will make a stick loom.
We’ll use wool, grasses, and other natural objects to weave our art on our loom. Let's have a look at the famous hungry caterpillar- they wove their way in and out of different fruits, cherry pies and even a lollipop!
