During the school holidays, rain or shine, The Little Gym camps combine fun, sport, creative activities and learning to keep your kids active, entertained and laughing. All while carefully developing their minds, bodies and self-confidence. Children love them! All our camps are themed. Camps are open for both members and non-members. This full-day camp is aimed at 5-12 year olds.

A fun class for children aged 4-10 months. At this age, the average infant has an awareness of their environment: noises, music, people, etc. Their brain is developing at an extremely fast rate, taking in and processing massive amounts of information. Children at this age first learn how to roll from the back to tummy and begin pushing their chest from the ground (4 -6 months), try to crawl (7 -9 months), and enter the pre- walking phase (10- 12 months). Alongside these developmental milestones, infants attempt fine motor movements such as reaching and grasping for objects, waving and clapping. Please contact The Little Gym for a full price list.

A fun class for children aged 30-36 months. Children in this age group are highly socialised and have an increasing ability to follow more complex directions. As their sense of independence and confidence soars, they are on the cusp of becoming self-sufficient with only an instructor. They are able to perform more complex locomotor skill variations, gymnastics skills and beginning sports skills as they increase their strength, speed and coordination. A fun beginners class for children aged 6-12 Year Olds. This is a playful, fun based class teaching the fundamentals. Challenging gymnastics skills are introduced, reviewed and mastered to build body strength, agility, coordination and confidence. During this class your child will learn the following skills: Tumbling: - Backwards rolls down an incline - Handstands and handstand forward rolls - Cartwheels and one handed cartwheels - Front and back handsprings with support - Vaulting, straddle, squats and beginner handspring vaults Beam: - Mount variations - Balances and travels along the beam - Cartwheel dismounts Bar: - Cast off dismount - Re-grip swings - Pull over variations Please contact The Little Gym for a full price list.

A fun class for children aged 3-4 year olds. During this class thee children will be taking part in: - Socialisation activities teach children how to function in a group, listen and follow directions, communicate with others, share, and take turns. - Activities focused on emotional development build comfort in a group (without the parent), encourage risk taking and help children deal with success and failure. - “Circuit” format ensures continual movement and minimizes waiting. About Aerials (Advanced) in Windsor A fun advanced class for children aged 6-12 Year Olds. This class is for enthusiastic children who love to be challenged. Instruction incorporates detailed skill building drills that teach specialised body positions and movement patterns to learn more advanced gymnastic skills. A fun class for children aged 5 to 6 year olds. The average 5-6 year old is very comfortable and confident in a structured class setting. At this age, the social aspect takes on a more important role as they become increasingly aware of each other and begin to compare themselves to and motivate their peers. This results in very “coachable” children who are able to follow complex directions, understand detailed and technical instruction and possess a noticeable eagerness to learn. A fun class for children aged 19-30 months. Children in this age group are on the move: quicker, stronger and faster. They’re ready to learn more complex movements in the “vertical world”: introductory sports skills, locomotor skills with perceptual challenges, jumping off raised platforms onto their feet, creative movement challenges, and beginning tumbling skills. These toddlers also begin to develop a greater understanding of “self ” and experience feelings of pride, confidence, embarrassment, and independence. They are also becoming great users of language, speaking and understanding more clearly. A fun class for children aged 10-18 months. By this age, most children are moving: walking or soon to be. Whether “vertical” or “horizontal”, children now have the ability to explore their environment and, in the process, can learn to problem solve, take risks and establish a sense of independence. They are also beginning to speak, enjoy being around other children and can start following simple directions. A fun class for children aged 4-5 years old. Children in this age group are now displaying marked growth in their social, emotional and physical self-confidence and self-esteem. They are able to handle more complex directions and have noticeably longer attention spans. Physically, they have mastered most all of the basic locomotor movements, including skipping. Because of their movement experience, they are noticeably stronger, more agile, more coordinated, and have a broad base of gymnastics skills. This sets the stage for considerable skill growth in gymnastics - Tumbling skills, preceded by locomotor movements, are introduced and mastered (galloping, cartwheels, run, jump, forward roll, etc.). - Multiple skills are taught simultaneously, reinforcing the children’s ability to handle more complex directions. - More challenging gymnastics skills help children become stronger, more agile, more coordinated, and more self-confident.
