Introducing our Holistic Sleep Workshop!
Suitable for babies 0-6 months. And open to anyone with a young baby or who is pregnant!
This 2 hour workshop will debunk some myths, help you understand the physiology of your baby’s sleep and how they develop over the first 6 months, as well as supporting you to find ideas and tricks that will work for you and your baby.
We’ll also include a mini baby reflexology session to help aid sleep!
We are here to support you and your baby. To help you understand their development, and environmental factors that may help or hinder sleep.
However, you are the expert on your baby. You should trust your instinct when it comes to anything regarding your child's needs.
We are always here to talk things out and help you get perspective, understand the normals and help to build your confidence.
Meet other parents in the area, chat and connect. Come along if you are pregnant, or if you have a baby!
Adeline will be there to answer any questions about pregnancy, birth, baby and postnatal you if you have them too.
This first get together will just be a way of parents to connect together. Future ones will also have a guest speaker who will come in and do a free talk about something related to birth or the postnatal period!

An afternoon of relaxation, connection and support. Let us give you a gentle pamper during your pregnancy with:
- prenatal yoga- meditation- mini massages- journaling- postnatal planning and more.
Pregnancy yoga with Laura:
Antenatal yoga can be a useful tool in self care during pregnancy by helping to calm your mind, focus on yourself and your baby, alleviate aches and pains, and to prepare your body for birth and beyond.
You don’t have to have practiced yoga before pregnancy to reap the benefits of it during pregnancy.
Expect breathing exercises, pelvic floor work, stretching, strengthening, stabilising, and time to connect with your baby.
Birth with Kirsty:
We will learn how your uterus works during labour and beyond and all about your birth hormones so that you know how to work with your body during labour and importantly when to call your midwife!
When you know what’s happening physiologically you will feel more confident, prepared and relaxed.
We will discuss how to re frame our mindset from the pain-tension- pain cycle to trust - relax-allow so that you can confidently navigate your birth journey.
Learn how to create the most beneficial environment to support you in having a positive birthing experience regardless of where this is.
We will debunk some common myths and have a fact v’s fiction quiz. You will get the opportunity to ask the midwife any general questions you may have as well as meet some other pregnant people too.
Postnatal with Adeline:
During pregnancy, we spend a lot of time preparing ourselves for birth and equipping ourselves with what our baby needs when they arrive.
Have you stopped to think about you in the postnatal period?
This time of transition is important and one where you need nourishment, time to heal, and support to prepare you for this new journey.
We will spend some time putting together a plan for you in the postpartum period, focusing on food, rest, hormones, and your physical and emotional recovery
How to prepare:
Please bring a bottle of water and wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in.
Mats and props provided. You are welcome to bring snacks you are able to consume discreetly. Paper and pen to take notes optional.
Hypnobirthing is a form of birth preparation.
Many parents-to-be like to educate themselves on what to expect during the birthing process. Hypnobirthing is that exact tool and so much more.
Hypnobirthing can be used to inform you on what your body is able to do.
It helps take it back down to basic physiological aspects of the birthing body. How the muscles work in the uterus and how hormones work to support birth.
Understanding your environment, rights, how to advocate for yourself and even preparing you for the many different ways birth can happen.
Other methods such as breathing techniques, visualisations, mindfulness, self-hypnosis and affirmations are taught during hypnobirthing.
In our monthly sessions, we will cover a number of different topics - each month will change dependant on the needs of the attendees, but all will include some of these topics and always have breathing techniques and scripts for relaxation.
- where to birth
- your rights
- the role of the birth partner
- the mind-body connection
- fear-tension-pain
- positioning in pregnancy and birth
- stages of labour
- the fourth trimester
- postnatal planning
- visualisations
- meditation scripts
- breathwork for pregnancy and birth
- and much much more.
These sessions are open to everyone at any stage of your pregnancy and are suitable for first time parents or if you are on your 2nd... 3rd... 4th baby!
Come and connect with others and let us support you to feel empowered for your birth and postpartum period.
Our Weaning Workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to learn about weaning their baby onto solid food.
Transitioning onto solids does not need to be complicated or scary.
We are here to help you navigate your way between purées, baby led weaning, and the mess, to find the joys in introducing solids to your baby! And how to progress through the different food groups.
Babies are welcome.
*Weaning is advised from 6 months of age.
Across 4 in-person sessions, you will learn everything you need to help yourself and your little one establish feeding, playing and sleeping routines and how to look after yourself as new parents.
We do this in a safe environment by having open and honest conversations with no judgment.
Price: £60 for the 4 week course.
About the course:
1. You
We start with You - the birthing parent AND your Partner.
This is a conversation about sex, relationships, emotions, piles, postnatal depression, hormones, body recovery, exercise, nutrition and pelvic floor health.
How is your pelvic floor health after giving birth? Have you considered the recovery of your vagina? There’s more to it than sitting on a bag of peas.
We work with a pelvic floor specialist to get your nether regions back in tip-top condition so you don’t have to pee a little when you cough.
We think that the majority of both new parents go through some form of depression after having a new baby.
It may only be a fleeting moment or last for a few days but this new life can be very hard to adapt to. We discuss uncomfortable thought patterns - that are a lot more common than you think - and encourage sharing and talking in our sessions.
Participate as much or as little as you like.
You will walk away with tools to manage your mental health and exercises to improve your pelvic floor health. No one wants to wee when they cough.
2. Sleep
How can you encourage good sleep routines?
The one thing every parent wants more of - but how do you get it? At a time when we need to be able to concentrate more than we ever have before, simple tasks can become a struggle - Not ideal when you have a new human to look after.
But being tired doesn’t have to be a right of passage for new parents. We teach you to understand your baby’s sleep needs so that you can get that all-important rest and we help identify signs of reflux and colic.
Learn how to encourage good sleep routines, types of sleeping, what sleep cycles are, how to link those cycles, what might be causing bad sleep and how to temporarily adapt your sleep routines as a family to work around your little one.
Setting good sleep routines from birth will create a positive relationship with sleep. As baby grows, their sleep needs will change and by establishing that good relationship, sleep regressions will be much easier to deal with. (even non-existent.
You will walk away with tools to help your little one develop a positive relationship with sleep.
3. Feed
We are ‘pro feeding’.
We are ‘pro feeding’. Breast, bottle, mixed. However, you want to feed your baby - We will support you. We will walk you through the different options, methods, how to get that good latch, nipple shields and how to deal with your partner if they are a bit pushy. If baby is hungry, they need to be fed. Bottle is ok - if you are struggling with breast, don’t sweat it.
Learn winding techniques, when they need to be fed and how they are asking for it.
Discover how making small changes to feeding at night can have a very surprising impact on yours and your baby’s sleep.
You will walk away with additional ideas and options for feeding as well as local contacts to help you in your journey.
4. Play
What is play for a baby and what should I be doing to aid their development?
Sleep, play, eat repeat. Understand the milestones and developmental changes your baby makes through their first 6 months and what play activities are best for each stage.
You will get a hands-on shortened baby massage session and play activities to develop all 8 (yes 8) senses effectively.
At this early stage, some of the simplest activities are the most important. That black and white book the hospital gives you is actually really valuable in those early days.
You will walk away with knowledge about all 8 senses, how to develop them in your little one and fun activities that your baby will consider as play.
When a baby or a child cries, or if a friend or loved one is upset, there’s no greater comfort than a hug.
Touch is a powerful therapeutic tool that we all have at our fingertips – literally.
It has been practiced for centuries across the world. It helps you to understand your baby and teaches you so much about each other.
The skin is the biggest organ and is the first to develop. Therefore, even in the womb, a babies most powerful sense is touch.
When we massage our infants, we also help release the hormone oxytocin in the baby, which regulates the cortisol or stress levels.
In other words, baby massage can help relax your baby, reducing periods of crying and in doing so aid sleep – welcome news for any new parent.
Babies explore the world around them through 3 main senses - sight, hearing and touch.
They will spend lots of time looking at you and listening to you and trying to figure their new world out, but they also need to experience the sensation of touch.
Just by holding baby, you are passing on so much information through this sense; comfort, warmth, calmness, care, and support to name a few.
Touch encourages the growth hormone in babies. Babies who are massaged are better at calming themselves, cry less and gain weight quicker.
Baby yoga is made up of a variety of poses and positions to promote baby’s development, health and well-being.
The positions and postures are gentle body awareness movements, not quite the yoga we normally think of.
They improve muscle tone, flexibility, body awareness and coordination.
The skin is the biggest organ and is the first to develop. Therefore, even in the womb, a baby's most powerful sense is touch.
When we practise yoga with our infants we develop baby’s vestibular system.
The vestibular system is in the ear and directly affects the nervous system.
It helps us understand our 'place in space' or our awareness of ourselves relative to things around us.
When we are born, babies aren't even aware they have limbs, let alone an awareness of where and how they move.
Proprioception is the range of movement at any joint.
Through Yoga you can help baby find their range of movement and develop an awareness of their limbs, joints and muscles as well as building a closer bond with each other.
Our Baby Massage Course is suitable for children from newborn to crawling.
Within these 4 sessions you will learn all about bonding, attachment, the power of skin to skin contact and a full body massage routine.
