Tumble Tots was established in 1979 by Bill Cosgrave, coach for the British Olympic Gymnastics team of 1968. Since then, we have prided ourselves on being the UK’s leading structured physical play programme for children from 6 months to 7 year olds.
Our programme has benefited more than two million children since it began, encouraging them to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle and the confidence to reach their maximum potential.
Our progressive play programme is designed to develop your child’s physical skills. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence.
Every session is supervised by our amazing specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child.

About Tumble Tots St Albans, 2-3 yrs
The third class in the progressive Tumble Tots programme offers children attending a more structured play class whereby, with parental support, they make their way around activity stations focusing on continuing the development of their agility, balance, climbing and coordination skills.The equipment becomes more challenging with the introduction of higher pieces which aim to further a child’s gross motor skill development.
There is a bigger emphasis put on social development in the class during circle times and also train times.
Children will learn to interact with others around them and are encouraged to build their confidence whilst expressing themselves in a group environment.
