Whippersnappers aim to provide a diverse cultural platform from which children and adults of all ages, needs and backgrounds can express and educate themselves through music, sports and art.
Aims and objectives:
- To provide workshops and performances in music, dance, art, and theatre to schools, nurseries, one o’clock clubs and community organisations.
- To provide work experience, training and employment for teenagers, young people, people with special needs, lone parents, professionals, and individuals.
- To take people out of their urban environment and bring them to green open spaces where they can take part in indoor and outdoor activities.
- To provide social cohesion within the community through culturally diverse activities and theatrical productions.
- To enable and empower complementary community groups and activities by providing affordable community space for hire.

About Held & Hold, Baby Massage
Baby massage classes are a great opportunity to bond with your little tiny person as well as meet new friends, share experiences, build confidence with support and laugh at this wonderful but sometimes overwhelming time.Whilst the baby massage classes focus on bonding and attachment through positive touch we also discuss the issues that parenthood brings.

“Our attachment and bonding with our primary caregivers during the first three years of childhood is the most important relationship we develop (Ainsworth & Bowlby, 1991)”.
At the beginning of the course, each parent will receive a handmade massage bag, including sample oils, a folder for the weekly massage sequence sheets, key child development information, and tips for many common health issues
Each session will last for approx 1.5 hours and covers all the massage techniques.
We will discuss the different bonding, attachment, and parenting styles. brain development, early communication, positive touch, and continued massage throughout childhood.
Age range: From 6 weeks to pre-crawling!
Ideally, babies should have had their 6 week health check.
