A fun class for children aged 3 years old.
The average 5-6 year old is very comfortable and confident in a structured class setting.
At this age, the social aspect takes on a more important role as they become increasingly aware of each other and begin to compare themselves to and motivate their peers.
This results in very “coachable” children who are able to follow complex directions, understand detailed and technical instruction and possess a noticeable eagerness to
learn.
Physically, the average 5-6 year old demonstrates a greater degree of body control, having the way for more advanced gymnastics skills.

Acro / Gymnastics is more than just a fun way for children to burn off some energy.
It helps children to improve their coordination, learn more about their body and create muscle tone.
All our classes are structured according to your child’s ability and age.
This class is suitable for children aged 3-4 years old.
At this age, the average infant has an awareness of their environment: noises, music, people, etc.
Their brain is developing at an extremely fast rate, taking in and processing massive amounts of information. Children at this age first learn how to roll from the back to tummy
and begin pushing their chest from the ground (4 -6 months), try to crawl (7 -9 months), and enter the pre- walking phase (10- 12 months).
Alongside these developmental milestones, infants attempt fine motor movements such as reaching and grasping for objects, waving and clapping.

During our Tumblers classes children will be able to learn the following skills and technique.
• Conditioning exercises which are incorporated into the warm-up activities and gymnastics stations to build strength and prepare for more physically demanding skills.
• Experience success and not being afraid to make mistakes which positively affects their self-confidence, self-image and self-esteem.
Children in this class have attained a particular skill level, in this environment skill growth happens quickly.
The approach to instruction focusses on the effort and the children are able to experience success.

Tumbling:

- Handstand 90 degree pirouette

Beam:

A fun intermediate class for children aged 6-12 Years Old.
There are no prerequisite skills for this class, so the skill range may vary greatly.
Children in this age range are still highly motivated by fun and love to play and pretend.
While they are interested in learning gymnastics, they are still developing confidence in their skills and need opportunities in which they can experience success.
• To accommodate the variations in skill level, instructors are trained to provide individualised instruction so that every child is challenged and successful.
• Challenging gymnastics skills are introduced, reviewed and mastered to build body strength, ability, coordination, and confidence.
• Playful, fun-based themes are periodically implemented
Our Flips/Hotshots class is suitable for children aged 6-12 years old.

Children in this age group are on the move: quicker, stronger and faster.
They’re ready to learn more complex movements in the “vertical world”: introductory sports skills, locomotor skills with perceptual challenges, jumping off raised platforms onto their feet, creative movement challenges, and beginning tumbling skills.
These toddlers also begin to develop a greater understanding of “self ” and experience feelings of pride, confidence, embarrassment, and independence.
They are also becoming great users of language, speaking and understanding more clearly.
With their newfound sense of independence, they are interested in following directions and doing things by themselves.

Acro is a style of that combines gymnastics and tumbling, while tricks involve learning how to perform stunts such as flips and cartwheels.
