Older toddlers have fun with their friends and develop a strong musical foundation for their future learning. TIME TO SING Songs for dressing up and telling simple stories! ‘Pretending’ is an important new area of learning as exploration and self expression builds self confidence. Through positive music interaction with each other, our toddlers are also learning important lessons about boundaries and how to handle frustration! TIME TO MOVE Toddlers are keen to get to know each other – bigger more exciting props such as hoops and parachute are excellent for sharing and making friends! Holding hands with partners in Monkey’s circle dances often makes the grown-ups feel very happy too! TIME TO PLAY Composing music is something that comes naturally to our Jiggety-Jiggers! Their strong musical foundation gives them super musical confidence. Props, images, music, stories and poems inspire our little monkeys as they create and perform their own special music. TIME TO SLEEP Most of our classes end with a little time for quiet reflection. Our Jiggety-Jiggers are gently reminded to practise new songs at home using some song words which may be printed from the Monkey Music Club. They may also be invited to bring something from home, to show in class the following week, as part of class topic discussions. Our Monkey Music Jiggety-Jig classes are Stage three for 2 + 3 years old.

Our baby classes are a sensory musical experience, and we stimulate the babies through sound, touch, movement and colour as they sit, crawl, toddle and explore the space. Throughout our baby sessions we focus on the importance of touch and interaction between you and your baby as this connection is a vital part of babies emotional, physical and intellectual development. There is an emphasis on tickling, giggling, singing, making your baby laugh, bonding and lifting the little ones up in the air in time to the music! We look for their eyes widening, their lovely chubby legs kicking with excitement and their eyes following the sounds of the instruments. An experience not to be missed and a fantastic start to your Boppin’ Bunnies journey with us! Per term = £8/class | Per half term = £9/class | 1st time taster = £8 & Drop-in = £10 both subject to availability. These Boppin' Bunnies classes are suitable for children aged 0-2 yrs.

A class for children aged 4 years and up or by invitation, this class is recommended for children who have completed a minimum 3 terms of our Preschool class. Designed as the perfect preulde to learning a musical instrument, children read rhythmic notation and recognise intervals. All classes are taught by classically trained singers and alternative between violin, cello, viola and piano accompaniment, with special guests from the orchestra. Children must be a minimum of 4 years by the first day of term or have been invited to join the class. We ask that all accompanying adults remain participate with their child through out the class. All siblings attending are required to be booked in, the number of adults accompanying should not exceed the number of children booked and we ask that you please don't bring any extra guests. We do not allow mobile phones in any class.

Join Kenton theatre’s panto comic Dan Whitley (aka Dantastic) and his team for an action packed summer holiday adventure. Your child will make new friends, be creative, stay active and of course have lots of fun with a variety of activities. At the end of the week on Friday at 2.30pm the kids will perform in a mini musical performance on the Kenton theatre stage for family and friends to watch! Our camp runs from 9am-3pm, Monday - Friday. Parents/carers are not required to stay for the week. In our young toddler classes you will find a wide range of activities to stimulate this very active age group! We use counting and movement songs and different instruments to hold the growing attention span of your little ones. This class is more physical as young toddlers benefit greatly from a lot of ‘hands - on’ musical play with their adults! We start to introduce concepts that are developed fully in the pre-school classes, such as listening and responding, counting, colours, getting out & packing away the instruments, and how to bring calm moments to the class using teddies and lullabies. We will encourage you to dance with your little ones, hold their hands, swing them round, lift them up, bounce them around, make them laugh and harness all their raw energy into having fun together! These Boppin' Bunnies classes are suitable for children aged 18 months - 4 years old.
