Mega Kickers is the culmination of the preceding age groups and is suitable for children aged 5yrs – 7.5yrs old. It brings together all the skills learnt and introduces them to real football matches. Children continue to develop their social and cognitive skills as well as honing their football skills, putting them to use at the end of each session during the 20-minute match. There is a focus on fair play, as well as a focus on knowledge, understanding and practical application of the rules of play. Classes run on a rolling monthly billing cycle (*plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts).

A fun beginners class for children aged 6-12 years old. This is a playful, fun based class teaching the fundamentals. Challenging gymnastics skills are introduced, reviewed and mastered to build body strength, agility, coordination and confidence. During this class your child will learn the following skills: Tumbling: - Backwards rolls down an incline - Handstands and handstand forward rolls - Cartwheels and one handed cartwheels - Front and back handsprings with support - Vaulting, straddle, squats and beginner handspring vaults Beam: - Mount variations - Balances and travels along the beam - Cartwheel dismounts Bar: - Cast off dismount - Re-grip swings - Pull over variations Please contact The Little Gym for a full price list.

This Rugbytots class is suitable for children aged 3.5-5 years old. KEY FEATURES - Children play independently of their parent/guardian - 50-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 8 unique badges to collect across the Mega Kickers programme More touches on the ball lead to faster and greater skill gain. Every child has their own ball throughout the session and our games are specifically designed for maximum touches of the ball. The games are progressively challenging enabling new skills to be learnt each lesson, however children are able to work within their ability. Children become more competitive at this age and are taught to challenge themselves and one another. The match becomes the climax of the session and is the perfect outlet for channelling children’s competitive energy as well as transferring their skills into a real world situation. Mega Kickers teaches the fundamentals of football in a fun learning environment through a series of games using our tried and tested structure. Our Mega Kickers receive quarterly badges which highlight the key physical, cognitive and football skills they are exposed to in our programme. Our Little Kickers absolutely love showing their badges to their teammates and family!

A combined age class covering the motor skill development of the BEETLES & GRASSHOPPER classes. During the session the trained coaches will follow the RUGGERBUGS programme ensuring that your child participates in age-appropriate activities. This normally involves dividing the children into different age groups. Your Child will now be developing “buckets” of confidence and self-esteem and will be autonomous in completing the rugby inspired activities on their own or as part of a group with the support and guidance of trained coaches. Parents can now take a well-earned rest on the side-lines but always on hand to provide a bit of support and encouragement when needed. For Year R children basic motor skills are now enhanced with more demanding rugby inspired skills, drills and games sequences further developing your / a child’s co-ordination, body awareness, controlled movement, and spatial awareness. The basics of Tag Rugby and core values of rugby are now gently introduced with the emphasis of FUN still very much at the heart of the session. For Year 1 children the focus is very much on FUN with more exacting skills, drills, and games to benefit the maturing child and bring together all the elements of the programme and their learning before they GRADUATE. Your child will continue to build on their physical, social, and cognitive development and gain more understanding of the basic concepts of rugby through evasion games where they and learn how to TAG and play as part of a small team. They continue to apply what they have learnt to perform activities through planning and evaluation of their actions to understand and improve their performance in order that they can move into U7’s mini rugby with ease and put into practice what they have learnt. At the end of July (final session) your child’s achievements are celebrated with a GRADUATION ceremony.

Catchy sounds and up beat tunes for making Monkey Music! TIME TO SING Music and language have many things in common and Monkey’s action songs have been especially written to support your child's early language development. Colourful props aid visual memory while repeated actions reinforce a feel for the ‘steady beat’. TIME TO MOVE Moving and dancing freely around the room with Monkey encourages your child to express the music that they hear with their whole bodies. Exercising to music forms and strengthens neural bridges that are necessary for later learning. TIME TO PLAY The Monkey Music Band offers your child the opportunity to practise fine motor skills using hand held percussion instruments. Band members need a certain amount of self awareness and self discipline which comes with regular band practice! TIME TO SLEEP Toddlers need active time for exercise and quieter times for calmer activities. Listening is a critical life skill which we nurture with relaxing and soothing music to conclude each Monkey Music class experience. Our Monkey Music Heigh-Ho classes are stage two for toddlers from 12 months.
