What is Planet Play? Created by our Tales from the Shed team, Planet Play has been specifically devised to encourage play and early communication development in young children. Research has shown that singing songs and rhymes on a regular basis helps to widen your child’s vocabulary and listening skills which are an essential part of learning to read, write and communicate. Planet Play, audience member 2024. Free to babies and children Learn Songs Play with Puppets Pricing Only adults pay. Children are free but all children over 6 months must have a ticket. Please make sure you book this when you select your tickets Seating Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor.

During our junior singing classes we will work on your child's singing and vocal technique, to increase vocal strength, range of voice & find the their true voice potential. They will be encouraged to develop confidence in their voices both within a group & as soloists whilst studying styles from musical theatre to pop. Classes are kept small to allow the teacher to tailor the class to asses and correct each student individually. This Junior Singing class is suitable for children aged 7-12 years old.

Throughout the workshops, you will learn and contribute to crafting vocal arrangements for a delightful medley of songs, each uniquely arranged with a Chickenshed twist! Every week, choir members have the chance to acquire skills, boost confidence, and develop a profound comprehension of how diverse voices can harmonise cohesively. To apply your newfound skills practically, numerous opportunities to perform throughout the year will be readily available.
