Our Mini Mozart Babies class is suitable for children aged 0-13 months old Babies are on the most magical voyage of discovery – everything they experience shapes how they understand the world and up until a child sees someone playing live music, it doesn’t make sense. It’s a disembodied sound that comes from a box plugged into the wall. Pianos and Parachutes, Giant Scrunchies and Saxophones, Bubbles and Bach, Puppets and Strings, this class has everything you need to inspire the Mini Mozart in your child! Don’t let these enchanting moments disappear without you having noticed them. ABOUT MINI MOZART CLASSES Mini Mozart offers fun and interactive live music classes for toddlers and babies. The classes feature two or more live instruments; a clarinet, violin, flute, French horn, saxophone or trumpet with a piano accompanist. The idea of Mini Mozart is to get children actually listening, not just hearing. Children interact with our live musicians in a way that is impossible with recorded music. It’s hard to say which will be your favourite part of the class; the warm up where the teachers introduce their instruments allowing your little one to get up close and touch the instruments, or the part where they reveal their suitcase full of fun props that will entice your child on an interactive musical adventure. There’s no doubt that seeing the children’s captivated faces as we open up an instrument case and show them how to put it together to make a sound is hugely gratifying as a musician. For the parents it’s entrancing. The Mini Musical part of the class is based on a different fairy tale each week and this is where we use every trick in the book to awaken the musician in each child. Many children experience things primarily through the visual, so our pianist plays contrasting excerpts of fast and slow Classical Music while the adults move the parachute in time over the children’s heads so that they see as well as hear tempo. You’ll choose a percussion instrument to play along with ‘start and stop’ activities that really galvanise the children’s’ understanding of what a conductor does and musical ‘rests’. You’ll be mesmerised by gorgeous Classical repertoire as your child practices their hand-eye co-ordination touching bubbles softly floating in the air. Remember all the songs your parents sang to you? That’s what you will hear in class. Classic nursery rhymes weaved into a classic children’s story with Classical Music. That’s not to say we don’t give it a modern twist though! For example, when Cinderella’s carriage turns into a pumpkin, she gets the night bus home and we all sing ‘The Wheels On The Bus’. When the Three Little Pigs despatch the Big Bad Wolf, we celebrate by singing The Oakey Cokey. During our KidsArt classes children are taught how to paint, draw, print, work with clay, sculpt, collage, use soft and oil pastels, and other core techniques, whilst at the same time learning about famous artists and their styles – each project is inspired by an artist or art movement. We cover a huge time range including prehistoric art through early civilisations, Medieval and Renaissance art, Islamic art, Mannerism, Baroque and Romanticism, pre-Raphaelites, Neo-classicism, Realism, the birth of Modern art, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Abstract art, Surrealism, Expressionism, Pop art, contemporary art movements, sculpture through the ages, and art from non-Western European traditions – including American, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Aboriginal artists. Where appropriate sessions reference current London exhibitions. KidsArt!’s core aim is to teach children to become accomplished and proficient artists who take pride in their artwork, and to nurture and encourage an informed love of art. Children are given the self-confidence and technical skills to produce their own original art work inspired by a good background understanding of art movements over the centuries. We provide a fun, stimulating and engaging experience and, over the programme courses, children will build up an impressive portfolio of their own work. Artwork is sent home as it is completed, accompanied by an illustrated factsheet which records what the children have learned about the artist and the art techniques employed. The children are provided with good quality sketchbooks for use in class to record techniques learnt and for sketching on gallery visits.

Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in Little Kicks and is suitable for children aged 2.5yrs - 3.5yrs old. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged both physically and mentally. Disguised Learning Through Play: Play and games are at the heart of everything we do. Our games cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children just think they are playing. The more the children enjoy the games, the more they participate. This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and independent play. Key Features: - Children are encouraged to play independently of the parent/guardian - 45-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 4 unique badges to collect across the Junior Kickers programme For those children who started in Little Kicks, independent participation is encouraged. If your child has just joined us you may need to stay close by for a few weeks, but the ultimate goal is for children to be able to participate on their own. The format remains learning through play and because children are allowed to work to their own ability, it is suitable for complete beginners. Little Kicks is the perfect introduction to the fun world of Little Kickers and is suitable for children aged 1.5yrs - 2.5yrs old. Children are introduced to the basics of football, dribbling, striking, goal scoring etc. in a play-oriented yet structured format, using child-friendly but realistic football equipment. Each child is given the opportunity to work within their ability level but taught in a group environment. Classes also provide a fantastic opportunity for you to assist in your child’s early education, helping them develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills. Classes are £41 per month and run on a rolling monthly billing cycle (*plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts of £25.00).

Our games are fast-paced and increasingly football-focused, with fun still at the heart, meaning that even new starters easily pick them up. Children begin to understand the importance of team play and matches are gradually introduced. Mega Kickers is the culmination of the preceding age groups. It brings together all the skills learnt and introduces them into real football matches. Children continue to develop the social and cognitive skills as well as honing their football skills, putting them to use at the end of each session during the 20-minute match. There is a focus on fair play, as well as a focus on knowledge, understanding and practical application of the rules of play. Key Features: - Children play independently of their parent/guardian - 50-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 8 unique badges to collect across the Mega Kickers programme Progressive Challenges and Matches More touches on the ball lead to faster and greater skill gain. Every child has their own ball throughout the session and our games are specifically designed for maximum touches of the ball. The games are progressively challenging enabling new skills to be learnt each lesson, however children are able to work within their ability. Children become more competitive at this age and are taught to challenge themselves and one another.
