Our age-appropriate children's activities are Serious Fun! We use movement, music, learning and laughter to nurture ongoing skill development and boost self-esteem. Your child progresses at their own pace, having fun and building confidence as they develop new skills. Explore the range of classes we offer at The Little Gym of Harpenden. At this age, children are ready to make a huge leap: participating in a structured class without parents. Developing a strong sense of self -confi dence and eliminating the fear of failure are paramount. Having discovered the joys of independence, they’re eager to “do what the big kids do”. But they still learn best through play—“hands on” and movement activities. Learn English country, ceilidh and barn dancing, and related social folk dance styles from further afield, this term led by tutor/callers Mike Ruff and Mary Panton. We dance to live music from musicians Ian Cutts, Ruth Rose and others. Explore England's social folk dance heritage, from the past and present, in this friendly and inclusive class. Develop dance skills, increase your fitness and gain the confidence to attend the dance or social occasion of your choice, whilst having fun! Participants learn a diverse repertoire of dances and develop skills in English country and ceilidh dancing, and learn occasional dances from related traditions from further afield. A key feature of English Country Dance is an emphasis on the various figures and patterns made by the dancers. This not only helps with spatial awareness but encourages social interaction, as referenced in the literature of Hogarth, Jane Austen and many others. All sorts of interesting historical nuggets are brought to light during the class to help put the dances into their social context. Young people aged 12 to 15 are welcome when accompanied by a responsible fee-paying adult.

Roll up, roll up! Morgan & West are back with a massive magic show for kids (and their childish grown-ups)! Expect gawps, gasps, and guffaws in this relentlessly funny and fantastical magic filled extravaganza, guaranteed to delight those aged five and 105, and indeed everyone in between! Morgan & West have shown their scientific skills in Unbelievable Science (national tour), brought good will to all with their Great Big Christmas Magic Show (national tour), attempted to escape The Slammer (CBBC), and even fooled Penn & Teller (ITV/CW Network). This season their hitting the road with their brand-new magic show full of their trademark wit, whimsy, and wall-to-wall silliness.

Our baby classes are for children aged 6 months to when they start walking. It's a great time to introduce babies to the world of music and dance and supports their early development. We use a variety of sensory props to engage them, including; glow balls, bells, scarves, pom-poms, ribbons and feathers. We sing nursery rhymes, boogie along to pop music, their favourite TV theme tunes and listen to a variety of world music. It is a fantastic class to bond with baby and help their coordination with clapping, waving, reaching for props and so much more! Our Junior Kickers class is suitable for children aged 2.5yrs - 3.5yrs old. Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in Little Kicks. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged both physically and mentally. For those children who started in Little Kicks, independent participation is encouraged. If your child has just joined us you may need to stay close by for a few weeks, but the ultimate goal is for children to be able to participate on their own. The format remains learning through play and because children are allowed to work to their own ability, it is suitable for complete beginners. Classes are £41 per month and run on a rolling monthly billing cycle (*plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts of £20.00).

Our fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.

This Racers class at kiddikicks is suitable for children aged 3-5 years old. Our aim at kiddikicks is simple. To provide the very best kids' football coaching for toddlers and children in London. At kiddikicks parents are important too! You have to be there but you can be active too - kiddikicks encourages parent participation in their toddler's football sessions and lots of encouragement from the sidelines for older players. If your child is mad for football, we also offer child and toddler football themed sporty birthday party entertainment.

Our Scoundrels sessions are suitable for children aged 3.5-5 years old. These sessions are packed with fun games that work on multi-tasking skills and confidence building to challenge them physically and mentally. We also bring in the concept of working together as a team.

Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools offer drama, singing and dance classes for children aged 3-18 across London, the Home Counties, in Cardiff and Oxford. Our classes are an excellent way to build confidence and social skills and are a huge amount of fun. With three terms throughout the year: spring, summer and autumn, there are plenty of opportunities for students to take to the stage with us. Students at Jigsaw are divided into age appropriate groups, ensuring that they receive the right level of focus and attention in drama, singing and dance. Our Little Ones are split into classes of 3-4 years and 5-6 years and take part in 90 minute sessions with a specialist performing arts tutor. Main School sessions are three hours in length and students are split into age groups of 7-8, 9-11 and 12+.
