KidsArt!’s core aim is to teach children to become accomplished and proficient artists who take pride in their artwork, and to nurture and encourage an informed love of art.
Children are given the self-confidence and technical skills to produce their own original art work inspired by a good background understanding of art movements over the centuries.
We provide a fun, stimulating and engaging experience and, over the programme courses, children will build up an impressive portfolio of their own work.
Artwork is sent home as it is completed, accompanied by an illustrated factsheet which records what the children have learned about the artist and the art techniques employed.

Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing of cloth, originating from the island of Java, Indonesia.
Learn the basics with traditional Javanese tjanting and Malam wax; plan your own design, apply the wax, and dye your fabric.
We shall create designs inspired by the theme of Blue Planet.
Be creative with your wave patterns, or work on what your expert tutor has designed, whilst applying the traditional techniques of Batik, which you will learn step by step.
You will then keep the piece, which will make a beautiful gift or keepsake.
Please note that the batik-making process will involve the use of Malam – a special wax for batik drawing made of natural substances.
Due to the heating process, it may produce a certain smell.
Face masks are recommended, but please inform us should you have a hypersensitivity to smell.
