Experiment and explore core techniques in art using print, paint, pastels, pencil, plus more.
The focus is to encourage children to engage with exciting materials, release their inner creativity and have fun.
Themes across the week include Portraiture, Landscapes, Pop art and Typography.
This Art holiday camp is suitable for children ages 7-14 year old.
Our holiday workshops for children aged 6-16 are a combination of half day and full day courses.
We explore projects working with paper sculpture, clay, design, mixed media, watercolour and acrylics.
Every student works on their own individual project - at the end of the session they'll go home with a finished piece of artwork!
Half day workshops are 2 hours; full day workshops are 5 hours (4 hours + lunch hour).
Full day students must bring their own packed lunch (no nuts, chocolate or sugary snacks).
Please note, we recommend our full day sessions for age 7+. In our experience, 6 year olds can find a full day in the studio challenging so our half day sessions may be a better fit.
The Big Improvised Draw with author-illustrator Bridget Marzo, is part of The Big Family Art Event.
Join award-winning author-illustrator Bridget Marzo for The Big Improvised Draw as she reads and draws live on stage some of the many human and animal characters in her books, including a sneak preview of the Stone Age family, which features in her new book, Mo’s Best Friend, to be published in 2024.
This unique, interactive event culminates in an improvised draw where you, the audience, can share what you think the new characters might do.
Shout out your ideas and Bridget will conjure a new picture tale of the most humongous Christmas party ever.
