Join us at one of our fun Kids Art Holiday Camps. Children learn to paint, draw, sculpt, collage, print, use a wide variety of media, build up a portfolio of beautiful artwork, learn art history, make new friends and have lots of fun! Each session will follow a different theme. Monday 23rd December - Gingerbread House Tuesday 31st December - 3D Snowmen Thursday 2nd January - Penguins Friday 3rd January - Monet's Robins KidsArt!’s core aim is to teach children to become accomplished and proficient artists who take pride in their artwork, and to nurture and encourage an informed love of art. Children are given the self-confidence and technical skills to produce their own original art work inspired by a good background understanding of art movements over the centuries. We provide a fun, stimulating and engaging experience and, over the programme courses, children will build up an impressive portfolio of their own work. Artwork is sent home as it is completed, accompanied by an illustrated factsheet which records what the children have learned about the artist and the art techniques employed.

Our holiday drama camps offer fun and creative activities especially chosen to develop self-confidence, focus and concentration. Dramarama camps encompass a wide-range of performance arts training and introduce children to a variety of genres, themes and styles, with an introduction to Musical Theatre. Children take part in a wide range of fun and creative drama games, activities and exercises to develop dramatic technique, performance awareness and self-confidence. Children are placed together in age-related groups; please let us know if your child has friends of the same age attending, so that they can be together. Please provide a named, nut-free packed lunch and snacks each day, in packets/containers that your child is able to open. Please ensure that all food items which may be a choking hazard are sliced. Please provide cutlery if necessary. We do not have facilities on-site to heat or refrigerate food. Children should wear comfortable clothing, please ensure that all removable items are named (e.g. coats, cardigans, hoodies etc.) Children are not permitted to bring toys, special items or mobile phones to the camp. Please note, the school does not allow parents/carers to leave scooters, bikes, pushchairs on-site. All Dramarama camps are drop-off sessions; parents/carers cannot come on-site to watch the camp, to settle a child, or to use the school's toilet facilities.

Over our Christmas camp, your foodies will be able to discover a a large range of dishes from different countries. Today’s menu: Christmas lunch Class suitable for children from 6 to 12 years old. Older students (up to 15) are welcome and will get to cook with in a separate part of the kitchen with students from the same ages group. Get a full immersion of the Christmas lunch vibes by cooking a whole poultry with some delicious vegetables and roasted potatoes during our Christmas cooking camp! Christmas poultry is a beloved centerpiece in many holiday meals, offering a range of options beyond the traditional turkey. Depending on the region and family traditions, various types of poultry—like chicken, goose, duck, or capon—are prepared with festive flair. No refund after booking. Students from 12 to 15 years old cook separately from the youngest ones when we have a minimum of 4 teenagers. Not suitable for children with the following allergies or food intolerances: Gluten, dairy.

Our multi activity camp will cover a variety of sports & activities (including football) as well as games such as dodgeball, chess, drama, talent shows and other creative games & activities. Our OFSTED registered holiday camps offer children a safe and inspiring environment to learn, discover and have fun with their friends. We offer a flexible timetable where children can choose their activities, boosting their confidence and self-esteem as they shape and control their own day. Since the pandemic, children’s holiday camps have gained an even greater importance for the development of children as they provide social reconnection with peers and help them rebuild social skills and friendships. With children having increased screen time during the pandemic, our holiday camps encourage outdoor play, sports and adventures, promoting physical health and combating sedentary habits. This not only has a positive impact on children’s mental health, but will also help them build resilience as they adapt to changing situations. Just as important is the mental health of parents, and our holiday camps can provide a much-needed break for parents while knowing their children are in a supportive and secure environment. Our venues have fantastic facilities that allows us to offer children an incredibly diverse activity programme, making our camp suitable for all children. All our camps are rounded off with a presentation on the final day of the week which includes a weekly camp movie, and prizes for all the children who have attended.

For Little Scientists: Our December Science camp is dedicated to Physics. Any elf, flying reindeer or sleigh mechanic hoping to work at Santa’s workshop must have a good grasp of how things move through space and time. Santa’s space engineer elves are hard at work these days! They have caught wind of our plans to build a city on Mars. How on Earth (or Mars, rather) is Santa going to deliver presents there?! Even more urgently, Santa has heard that there is a lonely robot trundling across Mars’ vast deserts doing scientific research. Its name is Curiosity and it hasn’t received a single Christmas present since first landing on Mars on the 6th of August 2012! It has no company and no friends so each year it has to sing happy birthday to itself :’( Let’s see if we can do some of our own research to help Santa and his elves get some presents out there to Curiosity in time for next Christmas. Once we’ve cracked this problem Santa will have no problem sending presents to Mars for future humans (and robots) for years to come!
