Seasoned storytellers Paul Rubinstein, and Becky Dixon deliver a series of sessions for babies and toddlers, aiming to engage and encourage interaction between parents/carers and their little ones using musical instruments, singing, movement and stories. Developing coordination, self-confidence and awareness using songs, sounds, rhythms and rhymes, we explore the Hall’s story of diverse musical history. This fun-filled family event takes place in the Door 3 Porch; one of the many intimate spaces beyond the main stage of London’s most iconic venue. Storytelling and Music sessions are suitable for children aged 0-4 years old.

Our Tales from the Shed summer spectacular - an unmissable treat for young and old! Join us for vibrant, interactive theatre shows as we transport your little ones on a holiday of tropical tales, from the comfort of the theatre! Children are encouraged to join in and re-write the show with their imaginations. We guarantee that every show will be fun and really silly. Psst... don't forget to bring your magic! What is Tales from the Shed? Tales from the Shed are vibrant, inclusive theatre shows that are perfect for young children. They are informal, lively and amazingly engaging as the performers and audience share the same space. Age Restriction Tales from the Shed is for children from 0-6 years only. With the exception of older siblings, no children over the age of 6 will be admitted. Seating Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor. Pricing You will need to purchase a ticket for everyone from the age of 6 months. If you are bringing a child under 6 months they are free of charge and you do not need to get them a ticket.

Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant is brought to life in this beautiful and heartwarming adaptation by James Boswell. Performed with great skill and humour using marionettes (string puppets), what better place than The Puppet Barge for the audience to float away into the magical world of this much loved story.
