Jigsaw provide fun and exciting performing arts activities that will build your child’s confidence.
The health and safety of our students is our first priority and we have extensive measures in place to ensure the children attending are safe, while maintaining a fun and engaging environment for all. All teachers are DBS checked.
There will be a balance between practical and fun activities and games that will ensure your child has a memorable holiday with an opportunity to make new friends.
These students will be divided into smaller age appropriate groups. Each day will begin with ice breaker games and a physical and vocal warm up followed by exciting dance, drama and singing workshops and fun activities.
Our focus will be improving the children’s performance skills whilst building their confidence and self esteem.
Catering to children of all experience levels, our Performance Project is thoughtfully designed to combine and develop music, dance, and singing skills.
Feel free to join in on a weekly basis, but do note that spaces are limited. To secure your spot, we highly recommend booking in advance.
Through this project, your child will journey towards an exciting live performance at Chickenshed, complete with lighting, music, and costumes! The performance is set to take place at the end of the Summer term.

What is Sunday Shed?
Sunday Shed is the perfect way to get involved with Chickenshed for the first time. There are drop-in workshops and performance projects held every Sunday!
Join us for an 'Under the Sea' themed adventure full of singing, dancing and themed arts and crafts, leading to a Little Mermaid inspired performance for family and friends.
With iconic characters such as Violet Beauraugarde, Veruca Salt, Charlie and Wonka we can't wait to spend 3 days creating a magical musical performance for parents.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Dancing, Singing, Drama Games, Arts & Crafts and Meditation & Relaxation sessions themed around Mary Poppins.
Children are split into age groups to rotate around classes taught by our expert team of passionate performers.
On the last day children are invited to dress up ready for a performance for parents and friends.
Our teaching team are passionate performers with showbiz CVs, DBS certificates and First Aid training who love passing on their skills and inspiring the next generation of performers.

This week the children will work on improvisation and comedy skills.
There will be lots of drama games and exercises with the children to develop their confidence and drama skills.
Our Drama Club holiday camp is suitable for children aged 7-15 years old.
Our holiday drama camps offer fun and creative activities especially chosen to develop self-confidence, focus and concentration.
Dramarama camps encompass a wide-range of performance arts training and introduce children to a variety of genres, themes and styles, with an introduction to Musical Theatre.
Children take part in a wide range of fun and creative drama games, activities and exercises to develop dramatic technique, performance awareness and self-confidence.
Children are placed together in age-related groups; please let us know if your child has friends of the same age attending, so that they can be together.
This is a 4-day Drama Workshop Camp.
Please provide a named, nut-free packed lunch and snacks each day, in packets/containers that your child is able to open.
Please ensure that all food items which may be a choking hazard are sliced. Please provide cutlery if necessary. We do not have facilities on-site to heat or refrigerate food.
Children should wear comfortable clothing, please ensure that all removable items are named (e.g. coats, cardigans, hoodies etc.)
Children are not permitted to bring toys, special items or mobile phones to the camp.
Please note, the school does not allow parents/carers to leave scooters, bikes, pushchairs on-site.
All Dramarama Camps are drop-off sessions; parents/carers cannot come on-site to watch the camp, to settle a child, or to use the school's toilet facilities.

You're welcome to simply turn up and participate each week, but please note that spots are limited, making early booking strongly advised.
By engaging in this project, you'll culminate in a live performance at Chickenshed featuring lights, music, and costumes at the end of the Summer term.
No previous experience is necessary.

Engaging and imaginative weekly drop-in workshops tailored for ages 5-7.
Every workshop is crafted as an independent session, with a unique theme featuring components of drama, dance, music, and art.
These workshops are structured to allow children to effortlessly participate, revel in the experience, and ignite their creativity while delving into the world of theatre.
