In our young toddler classes you will find a wide range of activities to stimulate this very active age group! We use counting and movement songs and different instruments to hold the growing attention span of your little ones. This class is more physical as young toddlers benefit greatly from a lot of ‘hands - on’ musical play with their adults! We start to introduce concepts that are developed fully in the pre-school classes, such as listening and responding, counting, colours, getting out & packing away the instruments, and how to bring calm moments to the class using teddies and lullabies. We will encourage you to dance with your little ones, hold their hands, swing them round, lift them up, bounce them around, make them laugh and harness all their raw energy into having fun together! These Boppin' Bunnies classes are suitable for children aged 18 months - 4 years old. Per term = £8/class | Per half term = £9/class | 1st time taster = £8 & Drop-in = £10 both subject to availability.

Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools offer drama, singing and dance classes for children aged 3-18 across London, the Home Counties, in Cardiff and Oxford. Our classes are an excellent way to build confidence and social skills and are a huge amount of fun. With three terms throughout the year: spring, summer and autumn, there are plenty of opportunities for students to take to the stage with us. Students at Jigsaw are divided into age appropriate groups, ensuring that they receive the right level of focus and attention in drama, singing and dance.

Mega Kickers is the culmination of the preceding age groups. It brings together all the skills learnt and introduces them into real football matches. Children continue to develop the social and cognitive skills as well as honing their football skills, putting them to use at the end of each session during the 20-minute match. There is a focus on fair play, as well as a focus on knowledge, understanding and practical application of the rules of play. Key Features: - Children play independently of their parent/guardian - 50-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 8 unique badges to collect across the Mega Kickers programme Progressive Challenges and Matches More touches on the ball lead to faster and greater skill gain. Every child has their own ball throughout the session and our games are specifically designed for maximum touches of the ball. The games are progressively challenging enabling new skills to be learnt each lesson, however children are able to work within their ability. Children become more competitive at this age and are taught to challenge themselves and one another. The match becomes the climax of the session and is the perfect outlet for channelling children’s competitive energy as well as transferring their skills into a real world situation. FUNdamentals & Badge Certification Mega Kickers teaches the fundamentals of football in a fun learning environment through a series of games using our tried and tested structure. Our Mega Kickers receive quarterly badges which highlight the key physical, cognitive and football skills they are exposed to in our programme. Our Little Kickers absolutely love showing their badges to their teammates and family!

Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in Little Kicks and is suitable for children aged 2.5yrs - 3.5yrs old. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged both physically and mentally. Disguised Learning Through Play: Play and games are at the heart of everything we do. Our games cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children just think they are playing. The more the children enjoy the games, the more they participate. This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and independent play. Key Features: - Children are encouraged to play independently of the parent/guardian - 45-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 4 unique badges to collect across the Junior Kickers programme For those children who started in Little Kicks, independent participation is encouraged. If your child has just joined us you may need to stay close by for a few weeks, but the ultimate goal is for children to be able to participate on their own. The format remains learning through play and because children are allowed to work to their own ability, it is suitable for complete beginners. Classes are £41 per month and run on a rolling monthly billing cycle (*plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts of £25.00).

During this class the children will be taking part in: - Socialisation activities teach children how to function in a group, listen and follow directions, communicate with others, share, and take turns. - Activities focused on emotional development build comfort in a group (without the parent), encourage risk taking and help children deal with success and failure. - “Circuit” format ensures continual movement and minimizes waiting. Themes and theme related music make each class a fun, learning adventure. - More challenging, developmentally appropriate gymnastics skills build strength, spacial awareness, balance, overall body coordination, and self-confidence. - “Free play and exploration” are incorporated into the learning time on the gymnastics equipment. - Children learn and perform gymnastics routines for the parents during Show Week A fun class for children aged 3-5 year olds. Little Kicks is the perfect introduction to the fun world of Little Kickers and is suitable for children aged 1.5yrs - 2.5yrs old. Children are introduced to the basics of football, dribbling, striking, goal scoring etc. in a play-oriented yet structured format, using child-friendly but realistic football equipment. Each child is given the opportunity to work within their ability level but taught in a group environment. Classes also provide a fantastic opportunity for you to assist in your child’s early education, helping them develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills. A combined age class covering the motor skill development of the LADYBIRDS, BEETLES & GRASSHOPPER classes. During the session the trained coaches will follow the RUGGERBUGS programme ensuring that your child participates in age-appropriate activities. This normally involves dividing the children into appropriate-age groups. Your Child will now be developing “buckets” of confidence and self-esteem and will be autonomous in completing the rugby inspired activities on their own or as part of a group with the support and guidance of trained coaches. Children 3.6 years to school age basic motor skills are now enhanced with more challenging rugby inspired skills, drills, and games and your child is given will continue to further develop their “skills4life” communication and listening skills when completing the activities based around balance, agility and co-ordination, speed, and strength. For Year R children basic motor skills are now enhanced with more demanding rugby inspired skills, drills and games sequences further developing your / a child’s co-ordination, body awareness, controlled movement, and spatial awareness. The basics of Tag Rugby and core values of rugby are now gently introduced with the emphasis of FUN still very much at the heart of the session. As your child progress through the RUGGERBUGS “Head Start” Programme they will achieve “SIDNEY SKILL AWARDS” in line with the programme structure and criteria. These will be assessed and monitored at the end of each term and allow a smooth transition into the next class when your child is ready. For Year 1 children the focus is very much on FUN with more exacting skills, drills, and games to benefit the maturing child and gain more understanding of the basic concepts of rugby bringing together all the elements of the programme and their learning before they GRADUATE. Children coming to the end of school Year 1 will GRADUATE at end of July (final session) with a ceremony celebrating their achievements.
