Join us for vibrant, interactive theatre shows as we transport your little ones on a holiday of tropical tales, from the comfort of the theatre! Children are encouraged to join in and re-write the show with their imaginations. We guarantee that every show will be fun and really silly. Psst... don't forget to bring your magic! What is Tales from the Shed? Tales from the Shed are vibrant, inclusive theatre shows that are perfect for young children. They are informal, lively and amazingly engaging as the performers and audience share the same space. Age Restriction Tales from the Shed is for children from 0-6 years only. With the exception of older siblings, no children over the age of 6 will be admitted. Seating Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor. Pricing You will need to purchase a ticket for everyone from the age of 6 months. If you are bringing a child under 6 months they are free of charge and you do not need to get them a ticket.

One person (and his shadow) meet and go on an incredible, imaginative, shadowy journey where creatures emerge, engage and transform beautifully. The show uses minimal language in combination with electronic music, a kazoo, a shaker and non- verbal voice effects. Little encounters between characters are explored and tiny stories unfold. A simple, theatrical blend of amazing skill, simplicity, humour and shadow magic. Winner of West End Cabaret Award 2018, Best show Moving Parts Festival 2019 and Top 3 Germany’s Got Talent 2021 This performance is accessible to the deaf and the hard of hearing. Age limit: 4+.

From the creators of Wild  (Unicorn Theatre) and The Little Gardener  (UK Tour), How It Ended present a playfully imaginative re-telling of Hans Christian Andersen’s festive tale, for all the family. Presented by artsdepot and How It Ended as part of artsdepot’s 20th anniversary celebrations. All performances of The Fir Tree are Sensory Adapted. This means that the show has been designed for everyone to enjoy, including people with sensory sensitivities including those who are neurodiverse, have epilepsy, or learning disabilities. The environment in the auditorium will be the same as for our Relaxed Performances. These are open to everyone but are particularly suitable for people with sensory, communication or learning disabilities, and anyone who would benefit from a less formal environment. Audience members should feel comfortable making noise and moving around as and when they need to.
