Principal of Acacia since 1987, Joan has danced and choreographed abroad before teaching in vocational colleges after full-time training at Laine Theatre Arts. Teaching ISTD syllabus Grade exams, we believe that exams are important for technical, artistic and safe learning, but other opportunities and events with a broader dance education are just as important for mental, physical and emotional results, as well as better exam marks! We'd love you to book a free trial of our Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre classes for any child aged 3 - 18. We also have Adult beginner classes for Classical Ballet and Tap, and Tap and Ballet classes for those who've done significant dance as children, but aren't professionals and just miss dance. We hold our classes at 823-827 Wandsworth Road, SW8 3JL (near Lavender Hill, SW11) and would love you to meet our dance family. We have a simple monthly payment system, whereby the 36 classes per year (extra to prepare for special events) are divided into 12 equal monthly payments and you only need give a month's Notice of leaving. (Classes are £7.50 for 45 minutes, or £22.50 per month; £9.00 for one hour, or £27.00 per month).
