The Afonso School of Performing Arts is a young and exciting school for dance and theatre arts, best known for having a true family and community spirit.

Let's dance, sing, act and have fun!!!
These classes cover all three aspects of musical theatre, working on one show/theme per term to allow progression and to help with performance skills.
Our main aim is to have fun, whilst building confidence and developing vocal, acting and dance skills along the way.
A technical dance class following the IDTA contemporary modern jazz syllabus as well as free work and routines.
Focusing on core strength, flexibilty, extension, release and creativity.

The English relate back to northern Clog Dancers but whichever one you choose to believe, tap is as popular today as it was in the heyday of the great Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly musicals.

Lyrical dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
In this class, we strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
Ballet is a core dance subject.
It develops technique and establishes the basic elements for all styles of dance.
We recommend every child attends ballet classes if they wish to develop good technique, which can be carried on to other subjects.

Hip Hop Hippo for children aged 2-4 years old
Bring your child along to our fun Hip Hop Class for children. They can try out their dance moves, build confidence and meet others in a friendly environment.
