artsdepot is a multi-award winning cultural hub voted Best Age Friendly Welcome at the 2018 Fantastic For Families Awards, Best Family Venue 2017 at the Family Arts Festival Awards, and Best Independent Cultural Venue at the Dot London Awards 2016.
Our venue incorporates a 395 seat theatre, 148 seat studio theatre, Creation Space (research lab), gallery, drama, dance and art studios, free children’s playspace, café and bar.
Since opening in 2004 we've had our roots firmly in the community and welcome over 162,000 visitors each year. In addition to presenting a vibrant year-round programme of performances and exhibitions, we provide opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy the arts and explore their creativity through a wide range of participation, schools and outreach projects. We also nurture new creative talent and support artists through artist development initiatives including artist residencies and workshops. Together with his Flying Doctor crew, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout, they tend to a sunburnt mermaid, a unicorn with one too many horns and a lion with the flu.
However, Pearl’s uncle, the King, has other ideas about whether princesses should be doctors, and she’s soon locked up in the castle back in a crown and a silly frilly dress!
With a bit of help from some friends and half a pound of cheese, can Pearl make her uncle better and prove princesses can be doctors too?

The Give Into Dance annual company dance show is a diverse and energetic dance performance from the students who attend weekly classes, held at Jacksons Lane and Cape venues.
The show is comprised of individual dance routines performed by eleven groups of children, young people and adult dancers performing Street Dance, Hip-Hop and Contemporary Fusion dance styles.
Our students have dance abilities ranging from professional dancers to complete beginners. All students are encouraged and welcome to perform with us.
This show is the result and celebration of the focus, commitment, creativity and hard work that the students have given throughout attending our dance classes this Summer term 2024.

On Thursday 16 May ten disabled people will perform in the Pentland Theatre as they compete in the grand final of Dance Barnet, a very special initiative that celebrates the joy that dancing brings to so many people – whatever your ability.
Dance Barnet is a partnership between the London Borough of Barnet and inclusive dance company Step Change Studios.
The initiative provides opportunities for disabled people to participate in dance through a series of free workshops.
The grand final promises to be a sparkling, uplifting event with celebrity judges providing commentary and scores.
The audience will also be able to pick their favourite couple on the day.
Hemantika is one of the most popular Classical Indian dance festival in the UK.
Celebrating the festival's 8th year running, this year we will feature renowned artists from UK and beyond.

choogh choogh is a family-friendly show inspired by the joy for travelling through India on a train. It combines classical Indian dance with contemporary movement, theatre and play, sharing with audiences a world full of colour, invention and flow.
The journey starts with the audience getting a special choogh choogh ticket.
Three artists weave a traveling tapestry with three scarves and original songs evoking, the sights, sounds and smells of the train, hawkers, festivals, musicians, rivers, jungles and cities.
Along the way as your train ticket get checked and imaginary food is sold and shared, this show is an exploration of just how much we can see and imagine, together, as the train chooghs chooghs on.
