The Give Into Dance annual company dance show is a diverse and energetic dance performance from the students who attend weekly classes, held at Jacksons Lane and Cape venues. The show is comprised of individual dance routines performed by eleven groups of children, young people and adult dancers performing Street Dance, Hip-Hop and Contemporary Fusion dance styles. Our students have dance abilities ranging from professional dancers to complete beginners. All students are encouraged and welcome to perform with us. Join us for the finals of Dance Barnet, a pan-disability Strictly-inspired dance competition which celebrates the joy dance can bring to everyone. On Thursday 16 May ten disabled people will perform in the Pentland Theatre as they compete in the grand final of Dance Barnet, a very special initiative that celebrates the joy that dancing brings to so many people – whatever your ability. Dance Barnet is a partnership between the London Borough of Barnet and inclusive dance company Step Change Studios. The initiative provides opportunities for disabled people to participate in dance through a series of free workshops. The grand final promises to be a sparkling, uplifting event with celebrity judges providing commentary and scores. The audience will also be able to pick their favourite couple on the day.

All the animals are perfectly conjured and the allegory is perfectly conveyed in a manner to be enjoyed by all ages. As we find oursleves in extraordinary times once again, Orwell’s message of betrayed idealism has rarely been as topical and poignant. Astonishingly performed, adapted and directed by Olivier Award winner Guy Masterson, director of the Olivier nominated West End hit The Shark Is Broken. This is a performance that will live in the memory for many years.

Little Bear can’t catch the funny joke at school when friends are laughing, but feels the crunch of snow on frozen pavements. Join Little Bear and Dad Bear as they learn how there are many ways to communicate love, and to find your place in the world. Can Bears Ski? is based on the book by poet Raymond Antrobus, Ted Hughes award-winner, who draws on his own experience as a deaf child in a hearing world. With a set inspired by Polly Dunbarʼs stunning illustrations, puppetry and music, Pied Piper Theatre Company and Deafinitely Theatre are delighted to bring this beautiful story to the stage.

The Wellies takes its audience on an adventure propelled by kids desires and passions, and the delight of splashing in a puddle! Every place the wellies takes us has a different feel and engages the children’s senses in a new way. The show centres on an imaginative and brave central character, and the journey she goes on with her new welly friends, both relishing an adventure, and appreciating home.

London Studio Centre presents an evening of work by the LSC Associates. LSC Associates offers training to gifted and talented students aged 9 – 18 who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts. The students receive professional training in two regions; London and the West Midlands. All aboard for a delightful train journey through India. choogh choogh is a family-friendly show inspired by the joy for travelling through India on a train. It combines classical Indian dance with contemporary movement, theatre and play, sharing with audiences a world full of colour, invention and flow. The journey starts with the audience getting a special choogh choogh ticket. Three artists weave a traveling tapestry with three scarves and original songs evoking, the sights, sounds and smells of the train, hawkers, festivals, musicians, rivers, jungles and cities. Along the way as your train ticket get checked and imaginary food is sold and shared, this show is an exploration of just how much we can see and imagine, together, as the train chooghs chooghs on.
