artsdepot is a multi-award winning cultural hub voted Best Age Friendly Welcome at the 2018 Fantastic For Families Awards, Best Family Venue 2017 at the Family Arts Festival Awards, and Best Independent Cultural Venue at the Dot London Awards 2016.
Our venue incorporates a 395 seat theatre, 148 seat studio theatre, Creation Space (research lab), gallery, drama, dance and art studios, free children’s playspace, café and bar.
Since opening in 2004 we've had our roots firmly in the community and welcome over 162,000 visitors each year. In addition to presenting a vibrant year-round programme of performances and exhibitions, we provide opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy the arts and explore their creativity through a wide range of participation, schools and outreach projects. We also nurture new creative talent and support artists through artist development initiatives including artist residencies and workshops. We are also host to undergraduate performing arts college London Studio Centre, who have a suite of studios and facilities both on and adjacent to our site.

About Boxed In
Who says a line should always be straight? What’s wrong with zig zags? How about curves?In a world where everyone else seems to understand, it can all get a bit confusing. And when you get it wrong, you’re made to sit out, but you don’t understand why. It seems so unfair.
Boxed In explores the unspoken barriers of attitudes, social etiquette and behaviour that surround us. How do you know a barrier is there if you can’t see it? And if you can't see it, how can you remove it?
This heartfelt story is about being made to feel naughty, just because the rules don’t make sense.
Boxed in is a Daryl & Co. and Half Moon co-production; an exciting collaboration by a ground-breaking Disabled-led theatre company and the UK’s leading small-scale young people’s venue and touring company.
Boxed In is largely non-verbal. This makes it accessible to a wide range of people, including d/Deaf, hard of hearing, BSL users and non-English speakers.
