Chelsea Open Air Nursery School (COANS) is a maintained local authority nursery that has been part of the Kensington and Chelsea community since 1928. COANS has achieved six consecutive outstanding Ofsted reports, and has a strong ethos on outdoor play. "The outdoor learning area is a labyrinth of exciting places for children to learn and play, whatever the weather'" - Ofsted. Alongside our nursery school, we run regular community activities open to children aged 0-5yrs. Our Stay & Play sessions (which run every Monday, 9:30-11:30am) are free to join and require no booking - we look forward to seeing you there.
