About
In a secure unit in an offshore correction facility, on the Island of Coraim Berdu, the Quatro trainees and the Mono trainees come together for their final tests under the watchful eye of The Examiner…
Will the island women ever find their way to freedom under their tyrannical leader?
Don’t forget your Smiles!
Smile! is a play which advocates for global social justice and pays respect to the Grenfell fire legacy.
Written by award-winning script writer and Artistic Director of S.P.I.D. Theatre, Helena Thompson, and directed and performed by young people from Chickenshed, Smile! will be performed in the Natural History Museum’s Attenborough Studio.
The scratch production is a collaboration between SPID (Social Progressive Interconnected Diverse), Chickenshed and the Natural History Museum as part of SPID's Season of Social Change, uniting heritage partners and artistic activists to inspire a fairer future.
