Our exceptional DDA workshops are designed for children to have fun and hone skills they already have and learn some new ones! All through dance, singing, drama & crafts! Classes are delivered by industry professionals who are passionate and experienced in teaching children, providing a positive environment for them to express themselves and be creative. Whether or not they keep on practising the performing arts, their memories will be cherished and the skills learnt will be used throughout their lives. All our workshops are fun! Learners are gaining coordination, confidence, creativity, musicality, increased concentration levels, and much more! £400 for the whole camp (4 days) or £120 per day (6 hours)

During our singing classes we will work on your child's singing and vocal technique, to increase vocal strength, range of voice & find the their true voice potential. They will be encouraged to develop confidence in their voices both within a group & as soloists whilst studying styles from musical theatre to pop. Classes are kept small to allow the teacher to tailor the class to asses and correct each student individually.

Acro is a style of that combines gymnastics and tumbling, while tricks involve learning how to perform stunts such as flips and cartwheels. Our gymnastics classes focus on developing strength and flexibility, which are essential for both dance and acrobatics. Our classes are designed to be challenging yet fun, and we aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for your child to learn and grow. We believe that every child has the potential to be a great dancer, and we work hard to help them achieve their goals.

Learning The Correct Way To Stretch, Warm Up. Moving From Sitting Straddles To Handstands & Cartwheels Students will learn to stretch and warm up safely, following on to sitting pike, sitting straddles, forward rolls. They will then progress further into handstands, Cartwheels, Bridges, Kick Overs & More. This Acro/Gymnastics & Tricks class is suitable for children aged 7-12 years old.

This specially designed Tap & Jazz class is the perfect introduction to Ballet and has been created by Dakoda’s Dance Academy for both Boys & Girls. Tap dance is a type of dance that uses metal plates on the Heel and the toe to create a ‘percussion’ sound. There are many variations of tap but we prefer to teach ‘ Broadway Tap’ which also uses classic 80s and 90s tracks to give a classic Hip Hop vibe. Whether your child is a beginner or a little more advanced, our Street Dance classes are tailored to accommodate and are taught by out friendly, professional dance instructors. This Tap and Jazz Inter class is suitable for children aged 12+ years old.

Exerts from different musicals e.g. Wicked, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliott etc are selected each term and students then have the chance to show off these skills in our biennial Theatre productions. This musical theatre class is suitable for children aged 4-6 years old.

This energetic style usually incorporates coordination, acrobatics, and complex foot work, and is frequently accompanied by music with prolonged breaks and hip hop. It is also commonly referred to as “breaking” and it is mainly composed of four elements - toprock, downrock, freezes, and power moves, all of which are taught progressively by our teachers, allowing our b-boys’ and b-girls’ to develop confidence as they develop mastery in their dance moves. Breaking trains coordination, focus, and self-control, and it is a great activity to develop self-expression and confidence in children! Students will learn to stretch and warm up safely, following on to sitting pike, sitting straddles, forward rolls. They will then progress further into handstands, Cartwheels, Bridges, Kick Overs & More. Our Acro /Gymnastics class for boys and girls is an energetic class for all abilities and this class is suitable for children aged 9-13 years old.

Musical Theatre is a fantastic fun form of theatrical performance that kids love. All the dancing, singing and acting students have learnt in individual classes are fused together and emphasis is placed on confident performing and style. Exerts from different musicals e.g. Wicked, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliott etc are selected each term and students then have the chance to show off these skills in our biennial Theatre productions. This musical theatre class is suitable for children aged 12+ years old.

Acro / Gymnastics is more than just a fun way for children to burn off some energy. It helps children to improve their coordination, learn more about their body and create muscle tone. All our classes are structured according to your child’s ability and age. This class is suitable for children aged 3-4 years old.

During our junior singing classes we will work on your child's singing and vocal technique, to increase vocal strength, range of voice & find the their true voice potential. They will be encouraged to develop confidence in their voices both within a group & as soloists whilst studying styles from musical theatre to pop. Classes are kept small to allow the teacher to tailor the class to asses and correct each student individually. This Junior Singing class is suitable for children aged 7-12 years old.

In our Beginner Ballet classes, we use a wide variety of music including funky re-mixed nursery rhymes, classical masterpieces and much more. Classes are delivered by friendly professional teachers who deliver this non-stop energy-packed class that will have your little one’s confidence soaring. Social skills, self-awareness, awareness of others, sharing, taking turns and many other important development lifelong skills are implemented. We use lots of different props to enhance the fun, and parents or carers can be as involved as much or little as their child wants or needs. This specially designed Tap & Jazz class has been created by Dakoda’s Dance Academy for both Boys & Girls. Tap dance is a type of dance that uses metal plates on the Heel and the toe to create a ‘percussion’ sound. There are many variations of tap but we prefer to teach ‘ Broadway Tap’ which also uses classic 80s and 90s tracks to give a classic Hip Hop vibe. Whether your child is a beginner or a little more advanced, our Tap & Jazz classes are tailored to accommodate and are taught by out friendly, professional dance instructors. This Tap and Jazz class is suitable for children ages 5-7 years old.
