About Kids Camp: Mince Pie
Get a full immersion of the Christmas baking atmosphere by cooking some tasty mince pie during our Christmas cooking camp!A mince pie is a small, sweet pastry filled with a mixture known as "mincemeat," which, despite the name, typically contains no meat today.
The filling consists of dried fruits (like raisins, currants, and sultanas), apples, spices (such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves), and often a splash of brandy or rum for added depth. Wrapped in a buttery, flaky pastry, the filling is rich and warmly spiced, making mince pies a favorite during the winter holidays,
No refund after booking. Students from 12 to 15 years old cook separately from the youngest ones when we have a minimum of 4 teenagers.
