Florence Nightingale Museum
About
The Florence Nightingale Museum celebrates the life and work of the best known figure in nursing history.
The museum is conveniently located across the river from Big Ben and Parliament, in the campus of St. Thomas' Hospital. The space brings to life the story of 'the Lady with the Lamp' by reflecting upon her early life, her time during the Crimean War, and reform work after her return to England. We also host two changing temporary exhibitions which dive into people and topics that showcase the lasting legacy of Nightingale.
We are a family-friendly museum with interactive activities and events perfect for people of all ages.
Meet Miss Nightingale's most peculiar pet, learn about life during the Victorian Era, and even see her famous Fanoos lantern! There is so much to see and do and all general admission tickets are valid for a full year - so you never have to miss out on the fun!
