Multi sports are delivered by sports teachers and coaches and the children will partake in a variety of activities such as football, rounders, tennis and fun sporty competitions. This will give the children the opportunity to have fun and interact with others through a range of sports such as football, rounder’s, tennis and competitions. Our Multi-Sports Camp is suitable for children aged 7-15 years old.

Come join us for an amazing cooking adventure at our January Camp! This in-person event is perfect for budding chefs aged 8-15. Get ready to whip up some delicious dishes and have a blast with fellow food enthusiasts. In the flavourful realm of a cooking camp, children will embark on a culinary adventure filled with delicious aromas, tantalizing tastes, and culinary discoveries. Guided by experienced chefs, young aspiring cooks will learn the art of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen safety. From exploring diverse recipes from around the world, they will gain a deep appreciation for the magic that happens in the kitchen. Through hands-on cooking sessions, they will chop, mix, sauté, and bake their way to culinary excellence. Alongside their fellow young chefs, they will develop teamwork and communication skills as they collaborate on group projects and share their delectable creations. Cooking camp will not only fuel their passion for food but also foster a sense of pride, confidence, and a lifelong love for the culinary arts.

Each day the children will explore different styles of dance with an emphasis on ballet and tap. Children will work on technique, dance routines and choreography, as well as projects designed to encourage creativity when story telling through dance. The participants will work towards final pieces and will be given plenty of time to interact with others and make lasting friendships! Leaders are professional performers with a background in theatre and dance

Children will learn about comics and cartoon history and how they have been used as tools for storytelling and communication over the years. 1. INTRODUCTION: Overview of comics and cartoon history and how they been used as tools for storytelling and communication over the years. 2. BASIC ANATOMY: Showing how the human body works and is designed to move. 3. CHARACTER DESIGN: How to work up designs for different types of characters and how they fit into the stories you want to tell. 4. STORYTELLING: Overview of comics storytelling, layout and structure. 5. SCRIPTING & LETTERING: A look at the basics of comics scriptwriting and how to produce clear lettering by hand for comics. 6. COLOURING: An exploration of different colouring techniques (including, if possible, computer colouring). 7. COMIC STRIP: Using the skills gathered so far, students will work on their own comic stories. 8. COMPLETE FINISHED COMIC: By the end of the course each student will produce their own complete 8 - 12 page comic strip. This Comic camp is suitable for children ages 7-14 years old.

Our Chess Camp is suitable for children aged 7-15 years old. Chess has been growing in popularity (online), boosted also by the popularity of the chess scenes in the recent Queen’s Gambit TV show. This course aims to develop students’ chess skills which can also indirectly help analytical and evaluative skills needed also in the classroom. The chess course will look at tactics, strategy, chess openings and endgame play, helping to become a better player.

Our Gardening Camp is suitable for children aged 7-15 years old. Garden planning outdoors and in, designs, types of plants and soils, videos, research and drawing activities, digging and planting of plants and more.

This Art Camp is suitable for children aged 7-15 years old. Our students will make life sketches, collages, and will also build structures out of cardboard and glue using these in graphics as an inspiration for their own streetscapes. These activities will open the eyes of young people to the world of fine artists, designers and architects. Anyone from 8 years old is welcome. Our environment is encouraging, inclusive and non-competitive, allowing students to move at their own pace and thus develop their unique skill-set. Below is a breakdown of subjects we will be covering: Still life exploring proportions Sketching using pencil and charcoal. Life drawing exploring human body anatomy and proportions. Sketching using pencil and charcoal. Art exploration 1: Exploring patterns from nature using coloured pencils. Art exploration 2: Collage making - exploring compositions and colour combinations through abstract forms. Architectural exploration: Students will create structures deciding on their function, then turning their ideas into sketches. Students will be taught structural elements such as the skeleton, interior and facade then think like an architect and a builder and will attempt to use unified elements. Model making: The designed structures will be turned into physical models. Fine graphics - Streetscape: Using students' own structures we’ll create imaginative streetscapes. Exploring technical drawing basics - plan, facade and section views. Exhibition and Portfolio Making: On the last day, an exhibition will be prepared for parents and other students, after the exhibition students’ artwork will be assembled into portfolios.
