Half Moon is a local organisation with a national remit. Working from our base in Limehouse, East London, we give young people from birth to 18 (25 for disabled young people) an opportunity to experience the best in young people’s theatre, both as a participant and as an audience member.
Our activity includes a season of professional plays for young and family audiences, including teenagers, national touring productions and an extensive creative learning programme, including eight youth theatres.
Half Moon’s expertise is in supporting artists and young people at every stage of their creative development, providing a gateway to engagement, offering pathways for progression and experimentation and then disseminating outcomes within the wider cultural sector, through performances, touring productions, open dialogue and continuing professional development.
Half Moon is a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England and receives regular funding from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, as well as many other supporters.

About Glisten
Come in, relax, find a space and settle. Slowly, a shimmering surface emerges. What does it look like? How does it move Listen, what can you hear? Welcome to a world of shiny things. Welcome to Glisten!An interactive performance for babies aged 0-18 months and their grown-ups.
The audience are taken on a sparkling and shimmering immersive journey exploring the world of reflective materials. Watch as the empty space of the theatre fills with colour, sounds and surprises, creating a multi-sensory landscape ready to explore after the performance is over.
The perfect alternative family Christmas experience, Glisten is performed to a small audience creating an intimate and welcoming theatrical experience, beautifully co-created by theatre-maker Daniel Naddafy and visual artist Phoebe Stubbs.
At the end of the performance, babies and parents are invited onto the stage for an interactive play session.
Early booking is advised as Glisten is performed to a very small audience.
