Little Fixers, powered by Fix It Collective, is a playful, hands-on space for families with children under 5. Through themed Stay & Play sessions and creative workshops, we introduce little ones to early repair skills, tool-handling, and nature-based STEM play. Parents and caregivers can also join in with sessions on upcycling, babywear repair and sustainable living. We hope to spark a love of making and mending from the very start. With us you can book: - Stay & Play for 6 months–5 years, blending open play with role-play tools, building, and fixing themes that nurture early problem-solving and creativity. We try to keep the price to a minimum (£5 but some discounts are available) to offer everybody the chance to experience the fun and creative space, but also to give parents a chance to connect via the community. - Creative workshops for children, young people, and adults, introducing hands-on skills. Our three themes are Repair, Mending and Sustainability and we have implemented a programme that works for children age 3 - 5 years old. Each workshop is thought to be adapted to children and their capacity and development. When using tools, we make sure safety measures are implementing and an assessment has been completed. This is the core of what we do.
