Mighty Kickers

Mighty Kickers are full of energy and they’re ready to put it into play. These fun football sessions are designed for children aged 3½ to 5 years. Each Mighty Kickers class is packed with fast-paced games, football fundamentals, and plenty of high-fives. It’s where kids start to think like a team, follow real football game structure, and kick with purpose. The fun is still front and center, but now, it comes with more confidence, more control, and the beginning of real match play. Mighty Kickers Focus In Mighty Kickers, our football coaches focus on something we call play, practice, and understanding. To kids, it’s just playtime. To us, it’s football training in disguise. Kids don’t just learn how to move the ball, they begin to understand when and why. We also introduce teamwork and basic match play, so players start learning what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves. Badges They’ll Earn in Mighty Kickers All-rounder Children show confidence across football, physical, cognitive, and social areas, a well-rounded learner through combining approaches to play. Kicking Continuing to build skills, at this stage, children are improving technique and consistency, learning to pass, shoot, and clear the ball away, with more intention and accuracy. Leadership We create opportunities for each child to take initiative in small ways, such as helping others, leading conversations, taking part in demonstrations, or modelling appropriate behaviors in scenarios. Matchplay Children are beginning to understand simple game rules, starting positions, and the joy of playing as part of a team. Physical Literacy This badge advances skills in physical literacy. Children will begin combining movements with rhythm, direction, and control, improving body awareness and memory through action.
