Nominated for the WhatsOnStage Awards 2024 for Best New Musical. After playing to sold-out crowds and standing ovations in Manchester — the new comedy musical MRS. DOUBTFIRE – THE MUSICAL is showing with dazzle and delight at the Shaftesbury Theatre! Based on the 1993 film Mrs. Doubtfire, starring Robin Williams in the title role, MRS DOUBTFIRE – THE MUSICAL brings the beloved film to a whole new audience. MRS. DOUBTFIRE showcases the talents of a transatlantic creative team of award-winning artists. 4-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) directs, with a book created by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell. Original music and lyrics by Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick (the Tony Award-nominated team behind Something Rotten!) perfectly complement choreography by Lorin Latarro (Waitress). Scenic design is by David Korins (Hamilton), with music supervision by Ethan Popp (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical). Winner of Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play and Best Set Design at the Olivier Awards 2024 A play based on Netflix sensation television series Stranger Things, STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW is now playing at the Phoenix Theatre in London’s West End! Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team featuring the Duffer Brothers, Kate Trefry, Jack Thorne, and direction from Stephen Daldry, this Sonia Friedman and Netflix production takes theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to a whole new level. Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW takes audiences back to the beginning of the Stranger Things TV show story (and may hold the key to the end…) It’s Hawkins, but not as we know it. Back in 1959 it’s just a regular town with regular worries, especially for the youngsters of the area. Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s radio show won’t take off, and Joyce Maldonado wishes she could take off and get out of town. But when the Creel family and their son Henry arrive in town looking for a fresh start, they find that the shadows of the past have a longer reach than anyone could have known.

The musical, inspired by the animated film, based on the ancient myth – DISNEY’S HERCULES THE MUSICAL is coming to Theatre Royal Drury Lane in summer 2025! It’s what classical civilisation would have wanted. Get ready for a wise-cracking, column-shaking, underworld-rocking ride of adventure, self-discovery and love. In tunics. Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott, DISNEY’S HERCULES delivers a thrilling night out at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane that leaves you ready to conquer anything. Ancient Greece. A time of gods, mortals… and Hercules, who isn’t quite either. But if he’s not a god, how can he possibly save the world from Hades? It’s one thing flexing those pecs, but going from zero to hero requires a different kind of strength.

Sponsored Event Don’t miss the unforgettable musical comedy THE BOOK OF MORMON in London’s West End, at the Prince of Wales Theatre. After stunning audiences on both Broadway and the West End, winning 9 Tony Awards – including Best Musical – and even winning a Grammy award for the soundtrack, THE BOOK OF MORMON musical is a certified theatrical phenomenon. Comedy duo Trey Parker and Matt Stone – the geniuses behind the animated hit South Park – joined forces to create this hilarious musical. THE BOOK OF MORMON breathes three-dimensional, all-singing, all-dancing life into the absurdities of Mormon dogma, whilst simultaneously being incredibly rude, potentially offensive and above all, unexpectedly endearing. Book your THE BOOK OF MORMON theatre tickets with LOVEtheatre today! What is The Book of Mormon about? This musical tells the story of two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda, hoping for a few baptisms and a couple of conversions. Instead, they are welcomed by some very harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord. The lyrics are guaranteed to have you weeping with laughter, and you’ll almost certainly be humming the music by Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez for weeks after. It’s fun, lightweight, but thought-provoking, too; addressing everything from consumerism to religion, The Book of Mormon is a musical like no other. Its staggering and well-deserved success makes it a real must-see. === This is a Loopla-managed event listing. Bookings are made directly on the LOVEtheatre website. We may receive a commission if you make a purchase after clicking on any booking links.
