Pleasing Dance was established in 2001 by principal Jo Wellings a ex professional dancer who trained at the Central School of Ballet and Arts Educational London before going on to perform with companies including English National Ballet, European Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet on their visit to London. Jo recently worked as choreographer for the BBC's production of Gangsta Granny. The school now operates in branches across London as well as providing teachers for Nurseries and local schools. All classes are taught by highly qualified and registered teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance and we are also a training placement provider for student teachers from the Royal Academy of which Jo Wellings is a mentor. We offer classes for children from 2 1/2 years upwards and many of our students have gone on to full time vocational training as well as the Royal Ballet Associate programmes and dancing with the London Children's Ballet.
