Real Mama

Real Mama is a London-based maternity and early parenthood service supporting families through pregnancy, feeding and life with a new baby. Founded by Laura, an experienced midwife, IBCLC Lactation Consultant, hypnobirthing teacher and mum, Real Mama combines professional, evidence-based care with a warm, practical and honest approach. We offer welcoming Babywearing Dance Classes where parents and carers can enjoy salsa, bachata and gentle movement while keeping their baby close in a sling or carrier. The classes are relaxed, baby-led and designed to help parents move their bodies, build confidence, meet other families and enjoy special time with their baby. No dance experience is required. Real Mama also provides IBCLC breastfeeding and infant feeding support, antenatal and birth preparation classes, hypnobirthing education and professional baby ear piercing at home using a quiet, sterile pressure system. Services are available in English and Spanish, with in-person support across East and Central London, as well as selected online consultations.
