The Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. Throughout its 150-year history, it has welcomed a who’s who of world-renowned figures: artists, athletes and activists. No other place on earth has played host to Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein and Muhammad Ali; Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles and Adele. Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall is set to return at full capacity after two years, with nearly 40 shows over 24 days as part of the venue’s 150th anniversary celebrations.

About Fun DMC Christmas Special

Once again the world’s one and only (and therefore best) family block party returns to Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room for an afternoon of festive family fun!

Great music from London’s most respected DJs, competitions, games and giveaways to entertain all, plus a Christmas stall, face-painting and hip hop-themed colouring in, means there is something for the most outgoing dancers and wallflowers alike!

Expect everything from disco to hip hop and garage to drum & bass - all played at family-friendly volume and with radio-friendly lyrics.

For those new to us – welcome!


Fun DMC is the daytime family block party for those too old or too young to go clubbing. We play the music you love from back in the day while giving your kids a chance to dance, play and even have a scratch on the decks while you enjoy family time and maybe a cheeky drink.
